Misc - Can't import video file to Resolve.

Any unsupported thing can't be imported to Resolve or not works correctly like muted audio. This includes but not only unsupported fonts ("wrong name"), unsupported video codecs, unsupported audio codecs.
Wrong name: Change file name.
Wrong video codec: Transcode to supported video codecs.
Wong audio codec: Transcode to supported audio codecs (often uses Avidemux to do it).
....
Don't be supprised why you transcoded a video but still not able to import it because may be there something wrong still remains.
*Note: .mp4, .mov, .mkv,..., is container formats, not codecs.
