    There's a lot of skill required for this game but sometimes this game relies way too much on RNG. You should have won that. Those ATGs not penning was ridiculous.
    Also highlight a problem with OKW: it almost seems like it's more of a risk to get rid of the Schwer than to leave it be (unless it's in range of a VP). I bet if that thing were still there, he'd have gone for a panther or a PIV and you would have won. It was more economical to go for the KT instead of rebuilding the schwer.

    Man the king tiger is kinda crazy. He didnt even have commander view range bonus. But i honestly find the 6 pdr is a very frustrating ATG to use. Rather have the USF with AP rounds and the faster rate of fire

      Nah, the USF M1 sucks. The AP rounds drain your munitions like crazy, especially if you try to get double AT guns. It can be decent against medium armor, but that is a very rare situation in team games. Basically, if you want your AT guns to pen the enemy heavies, you can´t use any other abilities at all, meaning you usually lose the infantry game. The only thing the M1 is good for is to be stolen by the Axis. It is absolutely amazing against Allied tanks because of their paper armor.

      @@jirkazalabak1514 you need to get them vetted before enemy heavies show up, preferably at Vet2. Once they inevitably die there’s not much point rebuilding against heavies and panthers as Vet0 M1s are just bad.
      That being said a pair of Vet3 M1s can shred anything if rngses don’t screw you over and is massively more useful than 6pdrs especially in 1v1.

      @@EstellammaSS That is very easy to say, but in 2v2 and above, the first tank you meet is usually a Panther or OKW Panzer 4, both of which frequently bounce the M1 shots.

    King Tiger is broken and needs to be nerfed. I get the impression it's armor value is higher than it says it is because I've experienced the same bullshit as this, many times.

    KT is just a joke. Strongest tank non doctrinal tank (why ?) + wtf is this speed, especialy the reverse speed ?!

    Stutters might mean something is heating up more than expected. Hot enough to miscalculate or throttle, but not hot enough to completely misfunction. Once i've met a problem with short but nasty stutters in games when heavy physics and effects calculations were involved.
    Apparently, motherboard's powerline had no heat sinks and when new installed processor started to consume power while doing heavy calculations, the whole powerline overheated. After some time those overheatings lead to inconsistency in processor's powersupply leaving him starving from time to time. Back of the mother board even changed it's color due to those temperatures. :)

    The whole KT passage is a clear case for my argument - Something needs to be done about the KT in 1v1. It's too monolithic, and in 1v1 there often aren't enough resources and units on the field to counter it. I don't know what can be done exactly, I'm not a fan of nerfing units all the time, but if there was a way to change the unit cost for 1v1 that could work. Make it more expensive, make it harder to camp for and therefore a much bigger risk to bring onto the field. That single unit beat the entirety of TR's army.

      Firefly + Comet keeps the big boy in check quite effectively. The burst dmg from the main gun + rockets is enough to send any heavy limping back and is also a good opener for a finishing move.

    i'm glad then went for light medium tanks at most for coh 3, heavies are kinda cancer for the game balance, sanity and competitivity. That scene with the KT where you penned it once in 7 shots with 2 vetted at guns is just too rng and frustrating when you play sseriously. I mean there always will be rng elements, but man that was painful to watch for you. I'd probably have smashed my mouse on my desktop lol

      KT is just to strong, thats it. Its not just the no pen from the at gun. It is also how easy a kt can kill an AT gun frontal. Just minimize the target size of an AT gun and increasr the penetration of the AT gun

    I do have some genuine questions. Does the Vickers HMG perform much better behind cover? I would think so since they are manned by the standard IS unit models no?
    And would Commando models manning the Vickers HMG make for better performance?

    I've seen that 6 pounder vs KT scenario play out a million times and with the vet, they should defo do a lot better. That looked very frustrating. Saying that however, I've never seen a Cromwell pen so many shots in my life. I think lady luck was on your side to have that pathetic tank be backbone of your comeback.

    Playing brits is so frustrating, MG's that don't pin and AT's that don't pen and get decrewed so easy

    Tightrope, is using the tactical map somehow standard or better? Seeing you using it I find it highly disorienting. I remember that back in company of heroes 1 there was almost universal consensus that the tactical map was useless, and as far as I know my friends do/did not use it either.
    Personally I use WASD to pan the camera, had to write a script for that since in this game you can't rebind keys. Been playing RTS for over 20 years know, but in recent years playing games like total warhammer, steel division, C&C3 and so on, I've gotten so used to panning with WASD that I can't go back to middle mouse button any longer, even though I was used to that for a long time playing C&C generals and CoH1. I think that's just me getting older. But the tactical map? Never seen anybody use it except you.

      In CoH 2 a lot of the top players are Tac map users, its simply a very useful tool to keep everything in check and minimizes the chance of you forgetting a unit.

      The majority of the top 1v1 players use the tactical map, I think in part because the minimap is so trash.
      I also think using wasd to pan the camera is inefficient when trying to play fast but maybe you have more dexterity in your left hand that enables it to work well.

      @@tightropegaming I use control groups to quickly zip around the map to keep an eye on my units, while WASD panning allows me to use the cursor entirely for moving around units so as to not lose a fraction of a second when micro'ing them. Then I have most hotkeys, such as lobbing grenades close to the WASD keys. (QRTFZXC) I can open with tacmap with space but so far I have found it rather disorienting as I stated earlier, plus especially on team games it can cause a bit of a stutter which is annoying.

    I've noticed that you make control groups but then when you actually select and move your units you never use them. Your play could be a lot more fluid if you were more consistent with them.

      If that is on the AT guns it is because quite often with all the rotations and sending them back to base for healing I get lost which one is where quite often. I just get too overloaded to remember.

    Pretty weird seeing brits without upgraded bren guns or starting bren carrier.
    Prob would have mopped the floor with him if you just ran with firefly, thought I saw you queue it up and cancel it not sure XD

      At vet 3 that is 260 Penetration mid range vs 375 Armour roughly 70% chance to pen and I think I bounced 6 shots in a row which is a .07% chance of happening. Now the odds would be a bit better than that since 2 shots were with the vet 2 AT and probably a bit beyond mid range but still. I won the bad RNG lottery on that this game.

      Also too much RE call in. You can buy another cromwell instead

      ​@@buivietdungtran3065 Nah that is a bad call all round. The RE are important for capping the VPs (25% cap speed bonus) and keeping the downtime on my vehicles low. I just shouldn't have brought the comet back in when it had engine damage.
      And when I'm in a desperate situation on the victory points I'm not looking to play around a sub 1% odds event sequence. The more likely option is the KT gets hit under half and then backs off, probably decrewing 1 AT gun, buying me time to regroup.

      @@tightropegaming I prefer the centaur, I think it would've helped with map control because their inf would consistently die to it and his panzers would have to hunt you, nice synergy with the AVRE and all, I'm not a huge fan of the comet most of the time unless I also have a centaur for anti inf anti emplacement duties along with a nice peripheral control.

      Imagine a 320mp unit with 60 Range would be enough to hold Back a 720mp 285fuel and 300fuel need to call in. Imagine Itwould be enough.

    The avre combined with Double at gun anr Royal eng are bullshit OP and should bei nerved hard. The Animation from avre isnway to fast. Sturmtiger need nearl tripple the time, has no turret and gets a Speed maulus while reload. No real Advantages with Higher damage...because ever noob can Dodge the slow shot. Thats why all Play this Brit OP shit and noone sturmtiger.
