Ancient Desert Discovery on Google Earth

I found this on Google Earth and hiked to it. It is atop a narrow ridge and requires walking on narrow ledges to access. I believe it is an ancient fortress.

Quite fascinating. Obviously walls built by natives, but it is a mystery why there 5:27 wouldn’t be any shards.

The reason there are no pottery sherds is probably because this is a defensive site. Just half a mile is another ruin with many pottery sherds.
