Why is There A Ten-Foot Pillar on Top of this Mountain?

- This is Mount Floyd in Northern Arizona. It stands at 7,441 feet of elevation and it has 1,661 feet of prominence. Over a thousand years ago, this area was home for Native American Cohonina people. We climbed to the top and found a ten-foot tall summit cairn that was beautifully built. This is a fun climb in spring, but the area does get snow cover in the winter. Awesome. Thank You for sharing with us 😊. I think there were more structures around there. We can see this pretty clearly on Google Earth. I can see other mountain tops there with rock foundations. They are hard to see but they are there. You are doing an awesome job.
