One man has made it his life's mission to visit these places, no matter how difficult the journey. Meet Mike Libecki, a modern day explorer who regularly puts his life on the line to seek out Earth's last untouched places.

Be Inspired Youd be surprised how easy it is to climb a lot of stunning mountains with only basic hiking abilities and supplies. At least here in California.
Be Inspired Oh yeah. Ned is right, there are plenty of easy places to start. Ever heard of Joshua Tree National Park in the Mojave Desert? A lot of my friends have started their climbing career there. Or maybe in Yosemite, like the guy in the video did. Start small, and you won't believe how quickly you'll rise up the ranks (and peaks)
Harry Heywood, That's good to hear. I'm not a mountain climber but I've been thinking about it and I'll check this place out.
Be Inspired Oh Just remember: It is a very dangerous hobby. Make sure you do all your research beforehand, may be but a guide book or two to teach you the basics. I'd also recommend climbing with those who have done it before; there should be groups out there willing to welcome new recruits. So just remember to act smart and be smart, and you'll have a great time!
