    She 💯 said word for word the things I would say or feel. And how she got out of it was how I did it. Amazing. I was “dying “ 3 years ago (not dying). Now skateboarding again at 51. Really quick list, high blood pressure, chronic fatigue, chronic pain, rapid heart, food sensitivity, brain fog, vertigo, couldn’t feel my legs, nerve problems, panic attacks, anxiety. Much more. I listen to your videos and baby steps. I wish, looking back I could just figure it out faster. Not the case. It was baby steps. Either way, slow or fast you will get better. You are not broken.

    Omg.. we talk about maladaptive stress response but I would call a lot of naturopaths , doctors and therapists MALADAPTIVE people themselves to what’s really happening in the realm of chronic illness. Uggh. This really needs to stop and shift!

    I'm only one minute in xD But I have to say, Dan, I think you giving out so much for free is part of what makes people really trust in you and see you as someone who wants what's best for us - which again is a big contributor to healing! And definitely also what makes people actually invest in your coaching. People and coaches who you suspect is only, or just MOSTLY, in it for the money don't have nearly as big a success rate than those you feel have a genuine wish and "calling" to help other people regardless if they make huge amounts of money or not.

      I appreciate the kind words. The way I view it, if I can't help people for free, then I have no right to ask for money for higher levels of access to me and my coaching.     This is brilliant. I think the part around 20 minutes where she talks about no longer caring is such an important piece. That technique, where you're finally fed up enough to truly let go, is incredibly powerful. It works for panic disorder and depression as well as long covid and I would guess chronic pain also.

    I’ve dealt with dizziness and fatigue for over 20 years. I’m just now getting to a point where I am “bringing the symptoms “ with me because as much as I don’t like it, it hasn’t killed me😂. The brain knows I’m getting to that point and started throwing bladder/pelvic symptoms at me. But these videos are inspiring and great reminders that I’m not broken and that I have to say screw these symptoms and get on with doing what I want the best I can no matter how frustrated I am and no matter how long it takes. Easier said than done, but it can be done. Bravo Morgan and Bravo Dan!

    I cried when she talks about the altimatem her husband gave her,I realized that was a fear I have been harboring that is just me catastrophising. But it also made me realize how selfish I have been,holding onto this mind body disorder as if it's the most important thing in my life at the cost of my family.

    I gotta get off the "Long Haul support groups". Everyone is miserable, and sad and complaining (wishing them well)... even my family is sick of me hearing about my symptoms and frankly I'm upset they have to hear me complain.

    oh boy, do I relate to her story. When I was a mom with a baby in 2000 I had really bad anxiety. Then it went away until after my mom died in 2017 and it came back even worse then before. I still am not already recovered, but getting better. Still need to face fears though. My biggest fear are doctors and anything to do with health tests. If I did not need meds for my hypothyroid I would avoid ever going to to a doctor unless I had an injury. With my parents I saw over the years how doctors caused them more harm than good.

      I ALSO STEER CLEAR OF DOCTORS AND BEGAN TO DO MY RESEARCH ON BEST WAYS TO BE HEALTHY. THE INFO IS OUT THERE FREE. MY AIM WAS TO NEVER DEPEND ON BIG PHARMA FOR MY HEALTH AS THEIR GOAL IS TO MAKE US DEPENDENT ON CHEMICALS. THIS ATTITUDE LED MY TO SARNO AND ALL THE OTHERS AND DAN. KNOWLEDGE IS POWER AND THE POWERS THAT BE WANT US DEPENDENT ON THEM LIKE GOV'T WANTS US DEPENDENT ON THEM.

      @@nancyrussell6598 I refuse to go on statins. I have genetically high cholesterol, but educated myself about cholesterol. High cholesterol is not the problem. I eat super healthy, exercise and am thin. No heart disease in my family. Cholesterol actually protects our immune system and is not the culprit, inflammation is. So yes, education is power not pharma drugs which harm more than do much good most of the time.

      @@nancyrussell6598 I do have to take a thyroid pill for hypothyroid. If I did not I would be feeling pretty crappy and it could hurt my other organs if I did not. But I agree too much pharma. Thankfully, my thyroid pill does not cause harm and no side effects and also is cheap.

    This has to be one of my favorite success stories! I had tears running down my face over certain parts cuz i understand so well. Many nuggets of gold here for me to aid in recovery.     Wow! Amazing! All my symptoms. Dan as you know because I have been posting I started a new job this week. Oh my goodness! I have had soooo much symptoms. Anxiety fast heart rate dizzy and tonight a panic attack. I sat and listened to this after the panic attack and it’s amazing. Every day I’ve wanted to run out of the new job because of symptoms but I’ve stayed. Tonight I felt awful. Dan honestly you have helped me so much I cannot even put into words. Do I feel good right now absolutely not but I will continue to listen to you every day until the symptoms are not sending me into a panic. You are such a blessing thank God for you and what you do. I will go to work again tomorrow with all the apprehension and give myself messages of safety x

    Another good book to read it Hope and Help for your Nerves by Dr. Clarie Weeks. She talks about how stress causes symptoms and we get concerned about the symptoms, which adds more fear. She says we get the first fear, which comes from a thought and then we add 2nd fear by worrying. It's a fear adrenaline fear cycle. She talks about a tired mind which creates fatigue.

    I just want to hug this woman and cry with her, so much her story is similar to mine. The feeling of doctors telling you „you’re fine, there is NOTHING wrong with your body“ yet you feel the worst in your life and your heart goes 130, it’s beyond HORRIBLE 😢

    This is so good. Thank you for sharing. I am on a ton of supplements too. I don't know what I am missing but I am going to keep going. Babying the nervous system is a good theory. I still get Major reactions to foods still. . I am starting to date and I don't want to go out and eat etc. thank u again for sharing.

    YES!! This is one of the best stories I have heard. I can definitely relate to this so much. It helped me to make a decision just not to care about the symptoms. It is taking me much longer than Morgan to incorporate everything fully but the most important step for me was this decision! "So what?" Best 2 words for me.

    Trying to avoid symptoms IS the problem. It's called bargaining. We "try" or decide to get "better" if we can do it without pain. But that's not real commitment or acceptance. Great interview.

    I'm so glad I clicked on this video. Her story resonates with me soooo much. The deep diving into your LC symptoms. The joining all the LC pages and groups (which end up being not supportive places TBH). The obsessive checking of heart rate. The inability to think about anything else but your illness. I love that she finally got to a point of IDGAF. I'm slowly getting there. I know my laundry list of LC symptoms are mind-body. I know I need to work on calming the brain and reducing the fear. It's hard work, but I'm up to the task. Watching Dan's videos each day help so much. I will get to that point of indifference someday. I can feel it.

    I just want to say about the paid program, that even if you can't make the schedule, the replays are available of the group calls and there Is so much value in the community support and hearing different peoples experiences and processes and growth!     Similar symptoms happened to me after COVID. Lost a stone plus in a week! Was only eating baby foods. The nausea cramps retching in the night etc. I'm convinced it was PDP but I didn't know about it. Took a year to get weight back on.

    Dan I’ve been watching your videos for a few months as well as working with Gigi. Those two things combined have helped me tremendously. Then I had a bad flare and freaked out. I spoke with Gigi then came to your page and watched this video, those two things got me back on track. This is the best success story I’ve seen and Morgan’s symptoms are really similar to mine. I feel like I’m no longer alone in my symptoms and if she can do it I can too! Thank you so much for sharing.

    Morgan…this is so similar to myself. Covid 12/21 and have been sick (80 % bedridden) since. POTS (high HR when standing), nerve pain, tremors, insomnia, muscle spasms. Etc. I have food insensitivities and have lost 45 pounds and severely underweight. I’m listening to these videos daily. Probably 5-6 x daily. I am trying to figure this out and need my life back 😢😢

      I had a lot of these symptoms you just mentioned (nerve pain, tremors, insomnia, muscle spasms, plus a few others) and was able to fully recover from them. Morgan's story mentioned indifference...that was what did it for me when I got fed up and stopped caring that they were there, eventually they faded away... You got this.

    Though your husband was supportive at first which was well.
    You said when he got tired he threatened to leave., now you are afraid of ever getting sick again, you are forced to be well or be a single mother.
    Deep down you will be in fear of ever getting sick
    You are human, humans and animals got sick.
    Free your mind of the hidden fear of getting sick and being alone with your child.
    If your husband get sick you will show up for him right.
    So be sick and if he go it's OK f he stays better for him , he'll be old with a loving family and beautiful companion like you.
    You will not be the last or first single mom.

    This has been my experience with long covid almost to a 't'. I contracted it in early April 2020,
    wasn't terribly unwell, but four years in still got orthostatic tachycardia and it's pretty much
    wrecked my immune system. I can 100% identify with the obsessional checking of heart rate! When you wake up in the night with a heart roaring away at 150 when pre-covid it was a calm 65, you do get obsessed. And the anxiety, and the osteoarthritis that really ramped up (I'm a lot older than Madison). I read Dr Sarno, I read Steve Ozanich, I sure as fire can look back down a long life and identify trauma, pain, guilt, grief, loss, sorrow, fear. And I get it. I was always anxious,
    had panic attacks thirty years ago, but always said 'great thanks' when people asked how I was,
    put on the makeup and toughed it out - again. Always. Never cried. Never said why me. Never asked for help. Just battled on. I can see I am a walking advert for TMS/PDP!!! Books that
    tell me about pure consciousness and floating above the fear, when I'm terrified to cross the
    road in case I fall, because I know I freeze halfway across, and no amount of floating is going
    to get me to the other side. Facing down the fear and saying 'so what, I'm doing it anyway'
    is the only thing that gets me out of the house.

And just to add, because I forgot to say, I had three years of interstitial cystitis, quantities of antibiotics that did nothing, and when I just gave up on it and said 'get on with it' it pretty much went away. From time to time I get a uti, but I drink more water and ignore it, and it vanishes. I got and still get scintillating scotoma. For a year I've had and still got a very stiff and immobile neck and shoulders and upper back, limited range of movement and arthritic elbows. Like I say - an advert for TMS...

      You're trying to fix yourself. You're paying too much attention to the dizziness. It's not dangerous, the more you fear the dizziness, the worse it gets. Embrace your symptoms. I overcame dizziness by purposely making myself dizzy. Worry stresses out the nervous system and can cause so many symptoms. The brain doesn't know the difference between real or a fake threat.

    very relatable story! i struggle with a lot of dizziness, anxiety & nausea so i find it hard to just “ignore” the symptoms & go about my day especially since i feel very disoriented most of the time…any other tips on how to get through the days when feeling like this?

    I don’t buy that my brain develop LC out of fear. I wasn’t fearful. I had been recovered from Covid for weeks and then one day I woke up and had all the symptoms. How could I been fearful. I felt great. I do believe that responding well to the symptoms and expanding slowly is the right track and I’m much better. But definitely Covid did something to suppress my ability to exercise without causing symptoms.

    They told her she had vascular inflammation...So did she actually have vein inflammation and how did she heal that with the TMS approach? I just don't understand..In my case, I didn't think covid had anything to do with my ongoing symptoms (4 years now). It wasn't until very recently that I began to suspect this might all be covid related. I was surrounded by people telling me I'd get better, and I believed them. I haven't gotten better. She says she was scoped by a GI and they found nothing. That's because she didn't actually have Long Covid. I was scoped about a month ago and was told I have gastritis, my entire pancreatic duct is hyperechoic, and there's sludge in my gallbladder. So what about those of us who developed actual physical issues after getting sick with covid? It seems like it isn't the same at all. There are people who THINK they have long covid and people who actually have long covid. She said she didn't have brain fog like most people....that's because she didn't have long covid...she just THOUGHT she did. Brain fog has been THE most debilitating of all of the symptoms for me. It makes me feel like I have a neurological disorder; MS, Parkinson's, etc. It causes gait change, wobbly uncoordinated movements, visual disturbances, central vertigo, cognitive impairment, etc. It's absolutely debilitating. It feels as though I've been poisoned and drugged. No amount of believing I'm not broken has affected it. It's like telling someone to drink a gallon of hard liquor and just believe they aren't inebriated.
    It seems like a lot of people can point to, "well I believed covid was doing this to me, so my brain created all of these symptoms." What about those of us who thought covid was all BS? What about those of us who didn't think for a second that covid could be causing any of these symptoms and truly believed that we'd get better...yet here I am, still suffering with debilitating brain fog, sudden onset of varicose veins, venous insufficiency, chronic gastritis, gallbladder sludge, an inflamed pancreatic duct, gait changes, coordination issues, POTS, left sided back and chest pain, and the list goes on and on. I went from being completely healthy and feeling normal, to being trapped in a twilight zone nightmare where not a single doctor I've been to has been able to help me in spite of numerous tests coming back showing that I have all of these problems, and everyone in any sort of naturopathic community or mind body community gaslights me when I tell them what I've been experiencing. My tests are showing evidence of physical damage and problems in my body, that were NOT there prior to getting sick with covid, and there's no other explanation for any of it. I've been told, "I'm sorry, I just can't help you" over and over by every doctor and specialist I've been to.
    I don't understand how people are getting better from this. I really don't. The only thing I can think is what I already stated; they never actually had long covid, they just believed they did. I believed with all my heart and mind that I'd heal, but I've only gotten worse as time goes by. I just don't understand. The vein disease and varicose veins I've developed is what really gets me the most. I'm starting to wonder at this point if covid causes systemic vein inflammation in some people which leads to the myriad of symptoms that affect all different parts of the body. There are people saying that it attacks and destroys the endothelial lining of the veins. How in the world is that a mind body issue? I truly don't mean to sound insensitive. I'm just absolute exhausted and I just want my life back... I'm so happy for the people who are healing from their mind body issues, I truly am. I just wish I was in the same boat. It must be nice to not have actual physical issues and just believe you're broken and "not caring anymore heals you in 3 days." It must be nice...

    So for allergies and histamine reactions to everything i eat some days including sinus issues, sneezing, itchiness that im told are caused by bacterial overgrowth do i just notice these issues , keep eating the foods and continue on with my day? The symptoms are very uncomfortable because of causing brain fog etc. I have already been doing this because everything gives me the reactions especially when seasonal allergies pick up. They are getting worse not better.

    Can dizziness be TMS im comstantly off balance even if my blood pressure is normal, bright lights make it worse, being in the dark makes it worse if im standing, uneven surfaces make it worse. I use to have slight proprioception issues but now severe where im scared to get out of bed, im in bed 22 hours a day. brain mri, eeg, emg/ncv normal. I have had so many tests, I also have migrating body pain, so mamy symptom spikes in my bp, labile like hypertension when i have to leave my house when usually its low, i used to have fast hr too. Mine was after covid too but had some slight symptoms before

    Can this happen to kids? My daughter is 12....she has severe pots eds sibo allodynia and now an eye tic from a drug !! She was bedbound at the age of 6 for a year! She has lost weight now constant nausea extreme fatigue. We just cannot take this anymore! She was not right from birth.

IsThisPDP.com - put each of her symptoms through the 19 question FIT assessment. If she answers one or more as "true", then it's not a problem in the body. The brains perception of danger is the cause.

    She talks about wine like it's a junk food that's bad for you and if you drink too much (of anything) it is, but if you're nauseous or have other digestive issues, sipping a glass of wine - as long as it's not sweet wine - helps with the nausea and digestion. Dry wine is best. In fact, drinking wine with a meal helps ward off mild food poisoning which is why it's a good idea to do this when travelling. Obviously too much wine is not good but a glass or two with a meal or sipping a small glass when your tummy is upset is a good thing. How do I know? I'm emetophobic - I make a point of knowing every way possible to avoid nausea and vomiting at all costs lol. Even in the Bible the Apostle Paul told Timothy to drink a little wine for his chronic tummy troubles. 1 Timothy 5:23 reads, "Drink no longer water but use a little wine for thy stomach's sake and thine often infirmities." If you're nauseous or vomiting and drink water, it makes you even more nauseous. Wine works well too for IBS symptoms too. Don't believe me? Check out all the people who agree on R eddit.
