I'm new to your channel, what's your favourite book? Mine is The Journey To The West [西遊記], have you heard of it before?

"Journey to the West" is a very famous work. I am also drawn to its charm. My favorite book is "Norwegian Wood," and I like how it touches on deep themes.

3:07 that looks delicious. Is it common to eat kimchi in Japan or is it more of a personal taste?

I like kimchi. Kimchi is also popular in Japan, but whether you eat it or not depends on personal preference. It is especially popular among people who like Korean food. There may be differences depending on the region.

I love traveling around my city too. I think it is so cool finding new places in your city and finding historic buildings. I always enjoy seeing what goes on in buildings that I have driven past multiple times. Also, like another comment said I think a city walking vlog would be very enjoyable to watch.

Traveling in your own town is fun because you can make unexpected discoveries. I think the best part of walking around a town is that even if you've passed by a place many times, you can be surprised by what you see when you stop by. It's interesting to find new charms in the same place by changing your perspective.

Reading is indeed a form of therapy ❤ it could be described as a form of escapism as well in my humble opinion however I'm often in the confusion that does it give me the peace of mind or I can indulge myself in reading when I already have that peace in me. It's a bit dicey..... Have you read "Into the Wild"? I read it few years ago and was mesmerized by it.. I'm glad your new found excitement is a walk around the city.. this could unfold new experiences. Have a great weekend

I really agree with your thoughts on the impact that reading has on the mind. I also feel that I can enjoy reading more deeply when I have peace of mind. I have never read "Into the Wild." But I have heard that it is a fascinating work. One of the joys of walking around the city is making new discoveries. Let's spend a wonderful time together.

Thank you. I'm glad to hear you say that. Japanese certainly has some difficult parts, but I hope we can learn it little by little and have fun. Let's both do our best.
      ありがとうございます。そう言っていただけると嬉しいです。日本語は確かに難しい部分もありますが、少しずつ楽しみながら学んでいけるといいですね。お互い頑張りましょう。
