  • This was just a short run from Oklahoma to Missouri. This is my 4th attempt at making a POV driveaway video hooking up to a truck. This time a Kenworth T680. I've really struggled capturing all the work I'm doing with this new camera. While I didn't capture everything I was doing, I think it will be good enough for most of you to understand what I'm doing and my process. Did you spot what I forgot to do during hook-up?

Hello. I'm new to driveaway and desperately needed to know how to hookup my tow car to a semi. Boom your video popped up. Unfortunately, i can't really see what you're doing and all the equipment you're using. Also how heavy are those cross bars? I need to know if i can lift them.

I have some other videos on hooking up, you might check those out as well. The vehicle you are planning on using must have a base plate. I have a video also on what you'll need to hook up to a semi or other vehicle. As for weight, that particular pinch hitch (the one on the back of the semi) weighs about 60+ pounds. It can be a bit much at times!

So I looked up the anti rattle bracket and most on Amazon say 1.25 inch to 2 inch. Is that the one you get or do you get one for 2inch specifically? I have been putting Placards in side windows just making sure I can easily see over them and the front plate in the windshield. The first time I did I run I almost lost my Placards off the door taped outside. I have found the doors must be cleaned to make the tape stick and I don't want to scratch paint smearing dirt on the door to tape to it. I am sure I will run into one where I can't put it in the driver side window but by sliding it down into the window behind the seal till the numbers are as low as they can go I only have to run tape across the top.

I've used both. But I think these are the 1.25 to 2 inch ones. I've had them quite a while.

Yes. No company that I'm aware of allows pets in the units we transport.
