Feeling your pain. In the process of restoring a 1966 88” Series 2a here in the U.S. My footwells were in similar condition as yours. Door tops and footwells are well known rust areas on these. I replaced both on the driver’s side. Passenger side next. Unfortunately I got sick and now I’m trying to regain the strength and motivation to continue. It’s a labor of love-it helps you have a friend to help-I don’t. I’ll continue to look out for new videos. Good luck.
Hopefully you get back to full strength soon. It's definitely helps having a spare set of hands, I am sure I've repaid the favor many times over repairing rust and working on all of Myles many 'projects'.

Flip the cab off like you did the deck! 🤙🏼
Rapid disassembly…I like your thinking.
I feel your pain, I have just started to restore my series 2A SWB, and its in similar condition. Great video guys
Im glad you enjoyed it- good to see I’m not the only one foolish enough for the undertaking. Cheers 👍🏻
Never seen a tray where the actual frame was timber. You kiwis are wild
Its a good concept, but a bad rust inhibitor.
LOL, this thing is mint by UK rust standards. I have Defender that's probably 20 years newer and I've picked up half of it with a shovel.
Haha, that definitely makes me feel like I got a good deal.
@@BunkerFuel you lucky lot ,want some uk rust sent down ?? lol
haha, thank you for the generous offer
I find the biggest problem in nz is the super strict standards required here compared to the UK especially re registering a vehicle.
I'm sure I will find out the hard way
Count me in. You mas bastards! 👍
Sangat bagus ,
Just finished a series 111 1976LWB Wagon. Repair parts cost $6,000 AU. Keep chipping away at it's worth it in the end.
