Remarkable condition for a series 3 Landie!
Love the simplicity of these old Landies, was not expecting the led’s 😂
Such a great paint colour. Like ford / fordson tractor blue 😂 Nice thing.
My dad had a series III 109 station wagon and i loved it.I drive a puma ST but would still love a series III.
It's great. I wouldn't worry too much about the roof. You'll only need it on rainy days 😉
Friday night has arrived! ❤
I'm on my 5th Land Rover and I can confirm whatever you pour in the top will come out the bottom ! and your sunroof on the series 3 is just affected of keeping water out as 2 of my discoverys. Great video and make sure Leon wipes up the oil on the floor before he goes home XX
Hi recently found your channel, absolutely love it
Mark
The ESB, our electricity supply company, used to have long wheelbase ones of those, with two tone paintwork.
They were gradually replaced by Unimogs for proper off road and 4wd Transits, Sprinters and such, for fields and lanes.
They famously only ever break down on the road, on their way to or from a job, never while off roading.
Not sure how true it is, but a classmate used to tell me how his Dad never hoovered his one. He just power washed the inside, while doing the outside.
The rubber “carpet” looks like it might stand up to that, but you’d imagine the seats might be different and the wiring behind the dash would certainly not take kindly to it.
I’ve been trying to buy an ex ESB one for a long time now, but the owner seems to prefer watching it dissolve into the ground, rather than have cash to spend on something he might use, someday.
Very frustrating .
@Tasty Classics My bro and I have restored 3 of the series 2A , a rare one and a few standard LWB ones , but i must ask. Has he had the Bonnet land on his arm at all ? Its a painful day if he ever does so i would say, buy a good prop or take it off to work on :)
What an icon ❤
Awsome landrover.
Learnt to drive in a series 2a great vid thanks and ‘a lot of time for that!’ 😂👍
Brilliant guys
Great video... Just curious is that bonnet strip hessian? I've heard people say it's canvas and need to replace on mine.....
Nice random spot of a Citroen AK350 there, 2CV vans are cool little things... :)
(may be slightly biased towards the duck than the landy!!)
A happy accident that it was there!
Don't worry about the dents, its the Landys personality
Nice one 👍
Put high lift cam in it like Edd China did give it more power 🔋
Can I ask what tyres you have on it? I've got mud and snow tyres on mine and looking for something a bit more tarmac friendly. Cheers!
"Sorry, you can't use your phone on the forecourt..." What a tw@t. 😒
Are you next door to Juice?
Did he have a heater when it was raining 😂
Canvas tilt not canopy
great channel if you can afford to buy him a brew or a sweatshirt to help him out
Built proof little motor. Chadwick’s do a bikini top for them
Hope I didn't observe you overtaking on hatched lines.
You can overtake on a hatched area if it's bordered with broken lines. See Highway Code rule 165 for reference. 👍
Bit like buying a goldmine 😃🤸🙃🤸😅
Skip the first 6 minutes. It's just empty prattle.
