I came to this video from your shorts video too and I ended up taking notes on the whole video! My latest video was not really planned out and I see al the mistakes I made now. I want to redo it from these notes and see how much better it performs. I’ll let you know! I’m also taking the suggestions on the last video I watched of yours too about short/long form. I actually noticed that to be true after doing a short everyday for 2 weeks. At first the results were great the first few days and then they plummeted! I also feel like shorts can take up too much time and it would be more beneficial to just put a lot of effort into a long form with all of these tips. Thank you! ❤
Since yesterday I have seen 20 youtube videos about writing TH-cam scripts. And they did reaffirm the points you were talking about, I was a little unsure of how to go about it and what are the steps I need to make these happen and your video was absolutely spot on with actionable steps. So, for me, personally, you don't need to relink at at the end. I'll watch your next video anyway! Thanks a lot for your help. I hope I can apply the concept effectively!
Last tip he didn't say on the video: make a call to action to the next video, but don't show it until the very end of the video. (I don't even know how to do that because youtube only let's me share my video before 10secs)

Will saying "at the end of the video I'll give you a template" not make them skip to the end? Should it not be a surprise extra value? OR could you add in "Make sure you watch all the steps because even missing one part of the process will cause it to fail" ?
Any suggestions for step 4 when you are teaching/demonstrating a physical skill? Is there a way you can keep a payout when you’ve been showing them how to do the skill? For example when each step of the video demonstrates how to play a different section of a song on an instrument

Just one minor suggestion: Regarding the intro, you say "Just answer those questions in a couple of sentences", I suppose you wanted to say "address" instead of "answer" (you don't want to answer the main questions in the intro, which would leave you without any payout to use in the rest of the video). Does that make sense? Cheers

I DON'T Agree With "The Payout At The End" This concept was intriguing to me, So I did some research... I went through all the popular videos of some of the top creators (including Alex Hormozi) and NONE of them followed payout at the end, While I understand your point and it does make sense, however, I do not find that to be a common practice, and even without that Videos do Work.
as someone who is attempting to restructure how they do their youtube videos this was an amazing insight to how to do so great job, id love to see a video on niche finding and thigns relating to that!!!

I struggle writing any scripts. I rarely scrip anything because I have a horrible memory and my few scripted videos were very difficult to make. Hope I will learn some tricks here

Awesome video! But please please please make one where you talk about how to actually come up with good TH-cam ideas and thumbnails to begin with…. LOTS of people talk about the importance of this but few have been able to actually explain it well… I think you’d be able to do that
Yea Its matters. My recent video only got a 70% retention. I'll now use same technique in my future videos. Let's see if it is a good technique? Or it's all luck
It's good. But it kinda reminds me of what Bobby Fischer said on chess. It's all theory and textbook for chess now. It took the fun and real creativity.. It's happening to youtube as well. Platform seems to be maturing. These are excellent tips btw.

I think the order I've been doing it as i think about launching a new TH-cam channel is: brainstorm ideas I think will be popular, do keyword research on some of these ideas and see what angles of those are popularly searched. Think about what video idea I could do based on what I want my channel to be that could have that search term or something very similar in the title. Think of the title before writing the script. But then I don't think of the thumbnail first necessarily. I can but it doesn't matter when I think of it as long as I am following through on the promise of the title in the script. In fact the thumbnail can be based on what you end up providing in the video. Just think of what questions the script ended up answering. What fears or desires of the audience were addressed? Also sometimes my video ideas are "too long" for the length I'm shooting for and I don't realize till scriptwriting. So then I need to split one video with one title into two videos with two titles so i basically need to start over with the title process anyway to account for the differences in part 1 vs part 2 and still reach the popular search terms but maybe different ones in each video. Idk I think it makes sense to do it this way but I've heard the advice to do thumbnail first before. I just. I think order doesn't matter as much as understanding the importance and psychology of it. And spending the time needed on making a good one.
I see the way you said at 2:40 ish though that then you inform your script with all the questions your thumbnail stirs in potential viewers... hmm I thought I had a good rebuttal for that that you could just think of the questions the audience would have first and write the script to that then tailor the thumbnail to evoking those but I see the problem in that. You can't tailor a thumbnail to too many different questions. They have to be very related kinda and that's why if you do it this way it's better to have the thumbnail first. Fascinating. I will keep thinking on this

quick question.. majority of viewers on my channel here are russian, if I want to make english-based content or my nation (indonesia) should I make another channel? or just stick with it, telling the algo by using hashtags, target language, etc..
