Very disappointed in all the useless crap under the boot floor. You immediately mentioned the steering wheel plastics. The problem is that once you have experienced a nice leather bound wheel over a long distance, cheaper materials never measure up. Manufacturers should have learnt by now that the one surface that you touch the most should feel amazing, especially when they go to such lengths to make it ride and drive well. £16,400 should leave a margin for a leather steering wheel, come on Ford, show your customers some respect. How did you find the driving seat and did you get a seat in the back because your head seemed well up against the headlining in the front. Anyway, nice car, very enjoyable and informative review. Thank you Davy.
The early 1.1 Fiesta Mark VIIIs were available with either 70 or 85 bhp, this has been recently changed to just one 1.1 engine offering 75 bhp. It is a bit confusing...
