good job.
Amazed it’s been in your fleet for a while now and not got under car LED lighting yet.
@@adamhenderson4318 only had it a just over a month still time 😂😂. No plans for modifying this one.
You'll have to put up the roof until next June once monsoon season in Scotland starts pal. Nice bit of poke in it for 700cc. Looks like a Miniesque driving experience. Have you drove a Mini? Is the driving experience similar?
Yup starting to lose the days of roof down weather now, been caught twice now with rain showers and having to get the roof up, its ok if you don't fully retract the roof and remove the roof pillars, if you remove the roof pillars its a stop car, get out, pillars back on, lift hood over roll bar and close. Used to own a BMW Mini (R56) but not a classic Mini.
I used to deliver to a steel stockholder in Cowdenbeath. That Corsa B looks very tidy for the age and the MGB GT looks fantastic. A friend used to have a 16v Corrado in the early 2000's, the little pio up spoiler was great, as it happens he replaced it with a Mk6 Celica GT4. I test drive a Juke Nismo back in 2013 before ordering the DS3 THP155. The Fiat 126 would have left the factory with an air cooled 2 cylinder engine if around 600cc though weather it still has that today remains to be seen as I expecta few modified ones have had other engines dropped in the back.
@@markonmotoring yeah the Corrado was a beauty, seen it last year at the same show at a different location. The MGB belongs to the organiser of the event. Was my first time at this location, do you know where in Cowdenbeath you delivered to?
@@scottishcarenthusiastsandtrain It was a company called Thistle Steel. I remember my 60ft extender trailer only just making it into the street off the main road without taking down the give way sign at the end of the street. 😅 I'm going back now probably at least 15 years or more. We had a few regular drops and collections including Alexander's Stirling, Brown & Tawse up at Dundee, ASD near Edinburgh as well as collecting from Corus Mills at Bellshill and the one out past Glasgow. Sometimes I used to do a run out past Keswick Airport and Irvin up towards Glasgow too. Didn't spend much time at home in those days.
Sadly no sign of the abarth club stand :(
Try Part 1 from seven minutes in.
Great wee video
My Abarth 595 was in this! Awesome video <3
@@NeonGlitchersHD you might feature in my main show report where we take a look at Custom Abarth Scotland.
There’s no audio in this video except your voiceover.
Nice variety of cars.
Always liked the look of them. Cant decide if they are practical or not. Brave man, the puretech would make me nervous, but modern HDIs do too to be fair. Many more happy miles pal.
@@kevfit4333 Thanks, the Puretech makes me nervous too, heard too many horror stories recently, thinking of changing it in the next few months. It's a great car aside from the Engine, it's a practical car but you would not be able to get a washing machine in due to the high lip into the boot.
Thanks man!after an oil Change i didnt understand why this has disappear.
Sacrilege to another legendary name. It’s a hard no from me.
Good video. Especially liked the time lapse run into the city centre. Its like "hey i recognise that" lol. Hope you didn't get tok soaked at the start there. Also reminded me why i avoid the city during the Festival 😂
Ah dear old Edinburgh. Met my lovely wife there and four months later she was pregnant. Definitely not a LEZ.
KFC finger licking good 🤣🤣🤣
No no no oh my god no
@@ianstewartorr8455 our thoughts exactly, must be the first car that I actually seen it and went no thanks
It might be a lot of things, but a Capri isn’t one of them.
@@richardhowlett7398 it's a insult to the name.
Just a bit of a pointless car when they have the Explorer and the Mach e 🤔 but I'm sure they must know what they are doing ....😄
@@Jaxs2 Killing the brand. Lol 😂
I don't get why Ford keeps putting sportscar names on electric suv's. This is worse than the Mustang Mach-E.
@@Kristen2762 I don't see the point of it myself with the Explorer and Mach E already in the range it's a very similar car to both in looks and style.
@@scottishcarenthusiastsandtrain I'd rather spend the same on a classic Capri or a 'Stang.
What type wiper blades with magic wipe are suitable for buyers c4 cactus. I'm struggling to find spares?
@@highlandphaeron I don't think you can buy them from the like of Halfords or Euro Car Parts, I found mine on eBay from a Citroen Dealer or you could buy aero style blades and change the rubber over.
I don't know why it has black rear arches 😊
I think it's been painted in the past.
I love Sarts, I have a W451 CDI and a Roadster. Both are so much fun. Happy Smart motoring 👍
An improvement, hope it doesn't bring up error codes as they do in some cars.
@@pizzalover3 so far so good.
Huge difference for a few quid... replaced mine, maybe 6 years back now with the LED s 👌 sticky tape interesting 😄
I added a little bit extra tape to buy some time till the new ones arrived 😂😂
The old fuzz will clock you a mile away now mate. Hopefully not on the back of an RAC truck 🤞
A job well done I like the sticker on the rear we visited prestwick the other day and we where sitting on a Andy’s man club bench greetings from south Lanarkshire
I have heard of these benches, but never actually seen one.
Looks great mate. Must have been a hubnut quick fix with the black tape. He's a funny fellow our hubnut God bless him.😁 Aussie Graham.
I added a extra bit of tape to buy some time till the new ones arrived 😂😂
@@scottishcarenthusiastsandtrain my apologies to Ian if he read my post I'm sure he'll see the funny side. Aussie Graham.
Is that Gok Wans Mondeo?
Nah it's just mine.... But I do a banging impression 😂😂

I don't know what's happened at the RAC from a few years ago. I had an alternator failure at Southwaite Services on a motorcycle. I was lied to time and time again by multiple service "agents" on calls as was my wife. It took 24 hrs to get recovered back to Ayr and they lied to both third party recovery companies that did the uplifts. Too much of a story to go into here, the upshot being I will never take RAC cover again, even if offered as part of my insurance cover (I always ask now who provides their cover) and have declined good insurance offers and told the insurance why.
Definitely take it further what a bloody shambles
If you paid the £160 by credit or debit card, you can claim the money back from the card company. You should quote "breach of contract" or "non-fullfilment of contract" under the "Consumer Rights Act". You cannot be expected to pay for a service that you did not receive.
God job man! You have a nice little runabout on your hands.
And where are all the nay-sayers that cut Hubnut short now? Eating humble pie? Still convinced that Ian was to blame and will be to blame for _anything_ that might happen in this car's future?
Keep fighting the good fight! Even when they do show up it takes forever. Friend of mine ended up waiting eight hours for the RAC to show up to recover her car after it was written off by a delivery driver while parked at work.
Make a complaint through resolver. You'll get your money back 100% it will deal with ombudsman and the process for you.
I can't understand why the tow truck didn't take the car back to your place at least, lucky you didn't have small children with you. Discusting service mate. Aussie Graham.
Leave a review on google then go to papers /tv news crew
Glad to hear the news! Enjoy driving it again, and keep us up to date. 👍
Great that you have been able to diagnose the ussue and replace the offending conpinent. Regarding the roof its always nice when a fault xan ve fixed by simoly pushing a plug back in. Ive had similar issues in the past though in my case I dud winder why it had been disconected in the first place. Well done Davy.
Wonderful news dalveen pass is a beautiful run happy motoring greetings from south Lanarkshire
Missed the June one, looks a decent turnout though
@@Goingplaces110 yeah I missed yesterday's but so much on at the minute.
@@scottishcarenthusiastsandtrain I'll miss the next one but definitely try to get down when I can. Catch up with you at something lol
Glad it's fixed and back running. The joys of car ownership lol
So basically you were sensible and let a professional look at it rather than stabbing in the dark like the previous owner.......
@@Patmac74 I had thought about it doing myself but I don't have the patience if I ballsed it up or somethinf went wrong! 😂
The problem that arose here had NOT presented itself while with the "previous owner". Stop giving Hubnut the flak.
Is a result love these cars
