Kiss was the first concert I ever went too. Had the best time. I was 11-12 and I went with a 5 kids from church, the oldest being maybe 15? Went home smelling like the floor of a bar, with red eyes from the copious amount of pot and cigarette smoke and someone accidently spilling their beer on me and could barely talk cheering at the top of my lungs. I remember Dad picking us up. He looked me in the eye for a minute, then just said "did you have a good time". The late 70's, early 80's were different. You'll probably know "Rock and Roll All Night" and one of their often overlooked but beautiful songs "Beth".
This band is one of the reasons i got into Rock Music! i got to see them live in concert in my hometown Chicago and i also got to meet Gene Simmons a few years ago dream come true! check out their other videos God of Thunder, Rock and Roll all night, Forever, Heavens of fire, Detroit Rock City, Strutter, Beth, i love it Loud, Reason to live, God gave rock and roll to you!
It's cool that this is.memory for you from the early 2000's? But also cool to remember, this was a song for us kids from the 1970s. Lots of people may enjoy, but we lived it ❤️. Loved your reaction
I've seen them 3 times once without makeup and twice with. I was front row center floors a half a foot from Paul all night. This was their disco diss track 😅 Heavens on fire and Rock and Roll all night are bangers. Great reaction and Peace out AR ✌️ ☮️ 🙏 BTW they're like 7 feet tall when in costume 😜
Growing up with these guys, i have never considered them heavy metal. Rock, yes. And by todays standards, this is now mainstream and tame. I hear it in elevators now.
This is off of their "Dynasty" album, and quite frankly, it isn't their best work. It's not their worst, either. "The Elder" or "Unmasked" are my least favorites, but my taste is entirely subjective. I think that their best stuff was on the albums "Rock and Roll Over" or "Destroyer." Kiss was a band that I grew up with. My first concert was when I was 14, and I got to see Kiss at the Oakland Coliseum. Or the San Francisco Cow Palace. The reason I don't remember the exact venue is because this was in 1976, in December, I believe, and Kiss was finishing up their Spirit of '76 Tour and were starting on their Destroyer Tour. The gatefold of the Kiss Alive II album is the stage I saw. Except the fireworks didn't all blow at once like it shows. That picture was taken solely for the gatefold. Kiss concerts back in the day were something to behold. They weren't just concerts. They were events, and they were truly awesome to behold. For an idea of what they were like, watch the 1977 live version of "God of Thunder."
Chaim Witz is Gene Simmons' real name, & he was born near Jerusalem in '49, his Mother a Holocaust survivor. He met 3 other Mensch in NYC & made KISS!💙🤘
If you want to listen to KISS,you need to hear Charisma.... it's Gene Simmons explaining...well....Gene Simmons. And as a body of work, the album Unmasked is worthy of your time.
I haven't really listened much to Kiss but they have some good songs, such as 'Creatures of the Night' and 'Heaven's on Fire'. The band formed in 1973 and are well known for their extravagant costumes and makeup. This song 'I Was Made for Loving You' is from 1979, apparently Paul Stanley said that writing this song was a conscious effort to prove how easy it was to write and record a hit disco song. I think a lot of their other songs are much heavier than this! Their genre is rock with elements of glam rock and hard rock. Cheers, Anthony. 😊😊
Yeah! I am a die hard metal fan for 40 years and I do enjoy even modern "extreme heavy"... But still this Kiss track is a super hit and masterpiece for me. )

Prefer yungbluds version more feeling to it
You should react to yungbluds cover of this if you haven't already
There are way better KISS songs for a first reaction. It was the time of disco, when this came out. I think KISS wanted to cash in on the disco craze.
I was never really a fan of Kiss, but love this song.
and Yes he is SCARY looking😂
