Non-Tamil people's are thinking that these Tamil peoples always talk about Tamil Tamil Tamil . For them, I want to clarify. we never degrade any other language Hindi, English, or anything. But, why others are imposing other languages on us?. Think about this>>> Our ancestors preserved our language for over 2000 years and it is still a spoken language. If we do not preserve the language which they preserved, it will be a betrayal for our ancestors and if we leave our language and start speaking Hindi or English it will be a disgrace to the whole current and future Tamilians. This is not a language that is derived from any other place or any other language. It's our own pure language which we are using for a long ago. and there are many languages which are existed existing by Hindi and English. so, we are trying to protect our language. Even We accepted English for a reason so that we can be in touch with modern society and with the world. But we will never accept Hindi. If Tamil Destroy for any reason then the whole community will start to disappear and this is what we afraid of. we will never let that happen. In fact, the world should be proud of us that we are protecting our language generation to generation from many problems. I hope you guys can understand if you still not able to... then you never can feel other's pain and feelings.Tamil is not just a language it's our identity, emotion and culture.வாழ்க தமிழ்

@@user-vx2pt6ox7v The word "Dravida" was taken from the schools of Buddhism. Buddhism has 3 major schools namely, Mahayana, Theravada and Vajrayana. Theravada Buddhism originated from India and the original books were written in Buddhist native language, Pali. Coincidentally, during the Pallava's reign of South India, Buddhism did flourish and traveled abroad to China and Japan.
It's believed that the English in order to confuse and conquer India, distorted the history by mixing up the Pali and the Pallavas and used the Buddhist school of thought and branded the South Indians as Theravadas which later was taken the political groups as Dravidas to split the south and the north Indian states. This is still being used today and they do not want to accept the truth because it will jeopardize their political mileage. They use this idea that Hindi speaking community were Aryans while the Tamil speakers as Dravidians. They claim that these people are not from the same root despite many archaeological findings.

I'd say as a Tamil person born and raised in London, the many Tamil people living around the rest of the world have a chip on their shoulders, not the angry kind but the kind that demands excellence of ourselves and fellow Tamilians, the song "Aalaporaan Thamizhan" from the Vijay movie (with lyrics) highlights this pride. That same pride is what gave Tamil the title of oldest surviving language of all time

But as they described such big landmass of kumarikandam did not exist atleast 300,000 years. Continental drift theory is approved by all scientist that proved India moved all the way down from Madagascar. We can say May be slight extension below kanyakumari. We can say proudly that we lived in Indus valley civilisation about 5000 BC where we find Tamils DNA in burial ground proved we exist in IVA. 50000 yrs before humans didn't even invented fire. As a descendant of the indentured servants who were sent away from India, I do feel a little bereft at what was lost from my culture. We have over the years made our own culture down here in Fiji, inspired by what our forefathers who came in the boats remembered, and usually I was okay with not having that connection. Fiji was my home. I grew up here, I will die here. Funnily enough if reactors like you guys, Waleska and Efra and a few others and their interest in the actual Indian culture, movies, songs and traditions that piqued my own curiosity to learn about the motherland from where my ancestors came.
I am a descendant of the North Indians of India but we have a fair few Tamil and Telugu people who's ancestors were also displaced, more than a few of them are close family friends and neighbours.
As of the last few weeks in order to learn more and understand more, with the benefit of understanding movies like Alai Payuthey and the like, I have taken up an undertaking to learn the tamil language via Hindi. Through the TH-cam videos I have watched, I am also gleaning a lot of culture from it that is not mine but part of my culture nonetheless. This video is also helpful and I am slowly growing more and curious about what was taken from us. Far away from our land and our people we have made our lives work in these tropical islands but i believe most of us Indians hearts still call out for our own Desh.
Thank you for respecting and presenting my culture and taking such a keen interest in it, you Jaby and Achara and a few others have awakened the Indian in me and I am forever grateful.

      Point of view
Chinese is just protecting their Chinese oil tankers route to preserve continous energy supply for economic and political growth and all the more the stability of 1.2 billion ppl of the largest nation in the world. These understanding between China and India is more firmed up than ever in the past.
Stable China is good for India and Asia.
Controlled India is the strategic need for China to sustain their vulnerable oil route.
However Chinese factor had been articulated and seen as a threat to South Indian sovereignty by the indian media campaign. Meanwhile the ongoing militarisation in TN is a factor shud be address as quick as possible by the Tamil geopolitical scholars.
Bearing in mind; In a case of a proxy war between China and India were to occur in TN region wiping out Tamilar tradisional homeland is enevitable and is obviously seem to be part of an Indian strategy. This is executable just by bombing the currently operating of the 1 oo 6 Nuclear Power plant at Koodankulam
      Possible Solution:-
Campaign such as, thru dialogues in public forum, Pattimandram-intellectual discourse among the ppl regards to
      1) Militarilisation TN Region
      2) TN region is a nuclear time bomb.
TN people awareness and ability to convert this into a Social Civil Movements are the few last left option for the hour from a catastropic unfolding event before its too late.

Respect to all the North Indians who have commented that they love and respect Tamil language although they cannot speak it !...Why cannot we South Indians also say that we love and respect Hindi but we cannot speak it! Isn't it fair that way? Why do you want us to also learn it and not just love and respect it :(

@राजा दाहिर That's not the point, the point is if you are claiming that you can love and respect a language even if you can't speak it, we would also like to do the same! We love and respect every Indian language, we don't hate any language! Just because we don't want to learn it, doesn't mean we disrespect it! And Btw Garhwali is designated as "vulnerable" in UNESCO's 'List of World's languages in Danger' , which indicates that the language requires consistent conservation efforts, .It has a long struggle for official recognition because of people preferring Hindi in Uttarakhand , I hope and pray that it doesn't go extinct!

That's because Tamil is not forced on Hindi speaking states while Hindi is forced on everyone.

@@JohnwickRRR67 That's why Tamils fight for their language, we don't want to replace it with Hindi. Tamil won't develop anywhere as it does in Tamil Nadu (India).

    9:46 golds in temple
Every old Indian temple (atleast South Indian temple as in aware of)has Treasure ( gold, silver dimond, etc)kept in a closed chest made up of Rock buried in Gurbha Gruha just under deity of that temple.
This procedure is still followed today when renovating or building a new one.
When asked about this i was told that this wealth was kept there as a last resort when that Kingdom would be in serious problem.
So yes the wealth can be used... But is it the only option left??
