Nice to see Mazda capturing more sales. They've struggled for a long time to add sales even when seemingly doing so much right.

Honda is up 8.8%? That’s great news. Also happy to hear Nissan is up too.

At breakfast we all shared a discussion about the topic of this video. Great job, Jon. Glad to see you bring up the current car market. As you may know Stellantis is heavily incentivizing sales of RAM trucks of '23 and '24 models still on dealers lots in order to move the metal sort of speak. You might want to caution your viewers not to quickly 'bite' on this temptation. These were built when Carlos Taveres was buying cheaper parts from parts vendors. Also, Stellantis for the year 2024 was the recall king with the greatest amount of recalls even beating Ford for the title. So these incentivized vehicles will not be as reliable in the future as they age for owners. And thus the discount they may receive on the MSRP will all be paid back with more frequent repair bills. Thought we'd pass this on to you as a cautionary note about Stellantis' plans for dealing with their problems.

How is GM selling the Trax? I can’t imagine anyone buying it.

Bought a new mitsubishi outlander phev in 24. Absolutely fantastic vehicle, loaded with features and tech, long warranty, really a great suv vehicle. Regular gas ones are just as nice

I love your work Jon So, you are saying Dodge sucks? My great grand father knew that and it has never changed, always 3rd in America. Even the exhumation of Lee Iococa couldn't help them now. Nothing to do with you, ,but sheeet...how could the French help anything? OK, surrendering is their strong point. Hope this comment helps the algorithim and brings up your new 2bd channel

Appreciate the comment! I wouldn't say Dodge sucks. Personally I've found (as have multiple people I've talked with over the years) that Dodge/Chrysler/Plymouth/Eagle/Jeep products don't hold up well over time.
To be fair, I've also met many since I was a teenager who consistently felt old Chrysler Co. products were the best of the Big-3, so there's that!
What I am saying is I don't understand Stellantis and what they're doing to Chrysler and Dodge. Let's see, we're unhappy with sales, so what if we REMOVE PRODUCT?
I want to believe they have a plan for the coming years, but they can't seem to articulate it.

My wife and I bought a 1981 Chevy Chevette new thinking we were supporting the American auto industry at a time when Japan Inc. was burying the American auto industry in their home market. We too were trying to do our part to help domestic auto makers. The only problem was that we learned too late that GM didn't care a wit about their customers when our car turned into a huge money pit. Never again. Bad cars are produced to victimize buyers. No reason to support that motive. We bought a Toyota Corolla as our next car and never looked back. It was the best car we'd ever owned.
