Can keep my AFO on while doing this?
Hi Sara W! Since we want the muscles to do all the work, you can perform this exercise without your AFO if you feel safe! Thanks for stopping by our channel :-)
had a stroke 1.5 months ago and would like this gone, so thank you!!
Hello there =) Don't ever give up! We are here for you. Stay consistent with exercise & stretching. Try to challenge your muscles through strength training on a weekly basis. To fight foot drop through exercise, you must not only stretch your calf muscles, but you must perform strengthening exercises of the calves and muscles around the ankle and foot, particularly Ankle Flexion, Ankle Extension, and Ankle Eversion. Please make sure to check out our other foot drop video we have on youtube (link below). Also, please check out our free 7-day Strength Camp as we have both the Dorsi Flexion and the Heel Toe Rock exercises in there (link below). Feel free to message us at team@msworkouts.com if you have any questions. Keep up the effort! Effort leads to results =D

My leg has gone very thin with foot drop i cannot feel part of my leg and foot its paralysed i got nerve damage during surgery after breaking my femur and hip..5 years ago..is there hope for my leg to get back to normal again? I will do these physio exercises.
Thanks
Beth
Hello Beth! I hope all is well with you and yours. Our sincerest feelings of empathy for your nerve damage. If the nerves in your leg are paralyzed this will keep you from being able to engage your muscles. We would suggest working with your physician to develop options on working towards restoring neurological functions so that you can then get back to exercise. Bless you and your efforts and we hope you have a magnificent day!
@@MSWorkouts thankyou ..i will do that.
