very basic information shared. RRSP is tax deferred combined with cpp which is also taxable, overall taxes post retirement increase. very basic information shared.
I believe the retirement crisis will get even worse. Many struggle to save due to low wages, rising prices, and exorbitant rents. With homeownership becoming unattainable for middle-class Americans, they may not have a home to rely on for retirement either
I optimized my retirement accounts, rolling over old 401(k)s into an IRA, diversified across asset classes and and use low cost index fund. Now I'm exploring dividend paying stock for income
You look like you know what you are doing. Please l'm plan on retiring next year with $800K. Any advice on how to implement your strategies to maximize it on retirement ?
As a beginner, access to reliable information is vital to succeed, so also is professional guidance. That's where a CFP comes in. Have you considered working with one?
I have been advised on that. Finding one who understands what I want and can work with me to achieve it is essential, although I'm yet to find one. Any recommendations, please?
As a soon-to-be retiree, keeping my 401k on track after a bumpy 2022 is a high goal. I've read about investors generating up to $250k ROI in this present sinking market; any suggestions for increasing my ROI before retirement would be greatly appreciated.
Yes, you are right. it's been a brisk tailwind for investors in US stocks over the decades but it is still a delicate season now, so I advise you to consider the guidance of a financial advisor.
A lot of folks downplay the role of advisors until being burnt by their own emotions. I remember couple summers back, after my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to help my business stay afloat, hence I researched for licensed advisors and came across someone of utmost qualifications. She's helped grow my reserve notwithstanding inflation, from $275k to $850k.

My grandfather was from Transylvania. He moved to the US, met and married my grandmother. They had 9 children. My mother being the oldest. Some of them have visited Romania. We want to visit Romania too. Maybe 2027.
I absolutely loved watching this. I love travelling and have been to so many of the Europeam places Egypt and Turkey but wow your adventures sound fantastic 🎉😊
Yes! You definitely need to go back to Egypt to see the pyramids, Luxor, Valley of the Kings, Abu Simbel etc. I really enjoyed the Nile cruise I took as well. You can skip Alexandria if you're short on time.
Absolutely loved watching this video. It was very inspirational and exciting! I think I could listen to you too all day long. There’s something comforting and reassuring in how you tell your stories. 😊
Thanks for sharing. I've heard you talk about the Faroe trip and Iceland (and you responded to my comment) but didn't realize it was part of an epic 6 month trip. I always find your content informative and as I get older and realize that there are some places we won't go to (like the Faroe Islands which had been on my bucket list) I go on your adventures vicariously.
Wow, what an itinerary! I can see what you mean about the cruise saving you - exhausting! Letting someone else do the planning and not dragging suitcases for 21 days is amazing.
Greece sounded interesting. Thanks for sharing. There are a few places I'd like to visit, not for opulence, but for the people media n food. Love your Japan videos. Sad to say Europe doesn't interest me.
Did you go yo the Ceremony of the Keys at the Tower of London? Fascinating. It used to be free, but I think you can now reserve on-line for about 5 pounds.
I really enjoyed this video. You did not mention the cost of your 6 month journey. I am sure it was more affordable 7 years ago when you went, but I seriously doubt you could do the same trip today for $4K a month.
I’ve learned so much from y’all. I plan to slow travel and even purchased IGH points. I’ve traveled solo in the states but I’ve never been out of the country as a solo traveler. Love your TH-cam channels.
How do you deal with not having a return or onward tickets, when entering a country. The airline told me that they would not let me board the plane, if I don’t have a return or onward ticket.
I love seeing footage from your actual travels. You should show more! Seeing you riding your bikes living is nice! 😊

What a wonderful way to see so many countries in such a short time. But understandable how exhausting a trip like that would be. 👍💪
In the spring I went to 22 countries in 2 months!🥰

Love the train story in Scotland 😅
Hello! Loved hearing this whirlwind itinerary! Am curious what the approximate spend was for this 6 month trip? Thank you!
Greece sounded interesting. Thanks for sharing. There are a few places I'd like to visit, not for opulence, but for the people media n food. Love your Japan videos. Sad to say Europe doesn't interest me.
Love your show. This is a good way to travel for pre retirement.
What an amazing trip! Thanks for sharing
This was really fun seeing how you started. Could you tell us your list of top places you still want to go too?
Just curious...what was the name of that cruise? Thank you soooooo much 😁

Hubby insisted that we rent a car and drive in England and Scotland. Never again!

Where did you go from that cruise?

The Faroe Islands look like Asgard 😂
Have you ever thought about a group of others joining in?
