I spent literally HOURS worth of reading on Reddit and watching videos on this very topic. I finally decided the internet was so split that I just ordered both and tried them out for myself. I agree with you, I'm a huge fan of the 11in iPad Pro and here's how I boiled it down: the 12.9 inch I LOVED as my desk, but HATED it on the couch. The 11 inch I LOVED on the couch, and LIKED at my desk, so it ended up winning because for me, I wanted to at least like every interaction I have with my tech.
Thank you for this!! I have also spent hours on Reddit and watching videos and I ordered the 11 inch but still was questioning my decision. This helped!!
See this is why I can’t decide! I use for streaming in bed more at the moment but yet need more of a laptop for work and productivity. The 11inch doesn’t have AR does it but the 12 does... correct?
I can see where you are coming from but I think that if you are used to having a computer the 12.9 is the best I do not like the 11inch but that’s just my opinion I’ve always been the kinda person to like the bigger version and I literally played on the iPad 12.9 inch at best but for like 3 minutes or less and I went to the iPad 11’ and it was just to small I bought the iPad 12.9 inch
My logic is: If you’re buying this as a laptop replacement, go with the 12.9. But if you’re using in conjunction with a laptop, the 11 just makes more sense
I agree. I have one also and I laugh at people who complain about the lack of portability of the new style 12.9 iPads. The 12.9 could have fit easily in all the bags he used in the video also. It is tougher to walk around i guess and use then the 11 inch but thats the only real disadvantage. I have an iPad Mini 5 which is more portable then the 11 inch iPad Pro and i’ve never once performed any type of productive work while walking around with it. That is so overblown in my opinion.
Man-Bag Dammit When making a purchase decision, I was stuck in between the two and on the fence if I should save $200 towards “portability”, to my surprise the 12.9” wasn’t that much heavier, it’s definitely light and surprisingly fits everywhere I go, couldn’t be happier which this, it’s the best product I’ve ever owned
Man-Bag Dammit actually I am thinking about buying the new iPad Pro but the question is most of the people told that the 12.9 is really big . When went to compare the sizes the 11 inch look kinda small especially if I will use the Apple Pencil.... if don’t mind can you tell about the 12.9 is worth than the 11 (I will use it for university and for designing)
As a student that has to look at notes/textbooks while writing or typing at the same time, it really helps to have the 12.9 inch. Some of my friends that have the 11 inch find it hard to utilize the split screen mode as much. Pretty minor difference though.
Yeah, in my opinion, the 11 and 12.9 inch iPad Pro should be discontinued and replaced with a standard 12 inch iPad Pro. 11 inches can be reserved for the air and the 12.9 inch can be replaced with the MacBook Air.
@@sakhawatrahman4961 YESSSS oh my god took the words right out of my mind! 12 inch would be perfect as it’s small enough for portability yet large enough screen so you’re not struggling!
decided to go with the new 12.9 inch. yeah i kinda wish it was as easier to hold with one hand but i’d rather have the larger screen and extra real-estate for note-taking, photo editing and media consumption.
Kübra K I’m loving it. I honestly wouldn’t go for a smaller size. Yes, it is harder to hold with one hand but the extra screen real estate is definitely worth it.
Basically as an aspirant musician I love the almost A4 version of the iPad the 12.9 because it’s way better to read sheet music, instead of printing a bunch of sheet music.
I'm a medical student and so we move around all the time in the wards. Smaller iPad pro would be much more easier to hold and move around all day on the wards. Legitimately thinking of copping this
@@canoopsy yeah bringing out my phone in front of patients to search up a disease is so much more unprofessional than bringing out my iPad mini where everyone assumes your being productive
Resident here, I have an small iPad Pro 2018. Tbh, you wont carry it around when rounding anyway. Also, if you do, get a heavy duty case. Trust me. They are handy after rounding though, when you are writing your notes.
@@princeofball So 12 inch is better for that purpose ? i have the same use case scenario.. Basically want to read all those pdf books , annotate them and then carry ipad around in wards. Which one do you think is better
@@mrigoo Honestly, I guess it may depend what service that you are on. Psych yes. Family, perhaps. But, trauma, surgery, Internal med, ICU...not a chance. It’ll just become cumbersome when you are running up and down the stairs. My advice: if I went back in time I would 100% grab the iPad Pro 12.9 and then just a field notes notebook for patients, then copy those/take a pic into my ipad.
I had the 11” iPad Pro for a year and sold it to get an iPad Pro with more storage. I bought both an 11” & 12.9” at Best Buy knowing I would return whichever one I liked the least. The iPad 12.9” was the way to go for me. It is bigger and heavier, but the screen real estate makes a huge difference. Multitasking is actually fun and useful on the 12.9” while it is more of a cool trick that’s not quite worth using on the 11”. The 11” is definitely more portable, but they are both tablets and very portable. The iPad 12.9” is the size of a piece of paper, so if you can’t fit that in your backpack then you need a new backpack. All that being said if money is an issue, and you have to have usb-c (which you do) then get the 11” you won’t be sorry. If you have the extra $200 lying around then you’ll want the 12.9”. Cheap mans pro tip, buy used at a retailer if you can. I saved $160 buying a used 12.9” from apple which paid for the bigger screen. They come with the same warranty’s a new iPad.
TOTALLY. Dude, this is the most real thing in the iPad Game I’ve seen. I LOVE the food tray when I’m eating food - but when I wanna just do some reading - so so different.
Personally i went with the 11, but mainly because i will use it on the go and already own a pretty powerful desktop PC at home, so the 12.9 made no sense to me. Very happy with the choice, its exactly what i expected
Yes I agree. I already have a 13 inch MacBook Pro, and a 15 inch laptop. This 11 inch is for the data, so I don’t have to bring out the big guns. But this thing won’t totally replace my laptops, it’s not supposed to. That’s where the portability shines.
I have small hands ... but I went for the 12.9..., I mean it’s not like I will be carrying it while standing .... I will be using it when I am sitting whether in University or at home So For me I don’t think it matters
@@elenajo8760 for me I have 2 workstations and 4 monitors with kvm switches at my desk. I’m not looking for a tablet to replace my computers; even laptops wouldn’t be powerful enough for what I do. iPads are more for a fun side thing for me. Hand/arm ergonomics matter too for using it around the house
I initially bought the 12.9” Pro along with the Brydge Pro keyboard. I thought I liked it until my coworker brought in her 11” Pro. I went as far to ask her if she wanted to trade. She gave me a blank look. I became determined to get the 11” Pro and ended up selling my 12.9” to get the 11” instead. Haven’t been more content since then.
Ordered 11 inch today. After watching tons of videos, I came to a conclusion that 12.9" is only sweet for desk, and need to carry it whole day along with me. Also pencil added up more.
@@travelworld2738 2 Months later and no bending or anything like that at all. I have the smart keyboard folio case as well as the paperlike screen protector on it. Because the smart keyboard only covers the front and back of the iPad, I also bought a felt sleeve pouch for it which I carry it in and that does a great job of keeping it safe from scratching in my bag
I have an old IPAD Air 2 9.7 that still works great. The only thing I can say is the 11 inch will probably more portable and can easily go from the bed, to couch , to car to wherever. It is really what I first thought about in the 80’s when the term personal computer was used. The 12.9 will probably start crossing the line for ease of portability. But hey, can’t beat the 12.9 screen real estate.
Of course the 12.9 inch will feel less portable when compared to the 11 inch, but when you compare it to even a 13 inch laptop it is still an incredibly portable device. A lot of these comparisons make it sound like the 12.9 isn't for people who need a professional machine on the go, but the 12.9 is still a better option than a laptop and that should be noted. It's still insanely light, it'll still fit inside a backpack or shoulder bag, it'll still fit comfortably in your lap in a lecture theatre or rest on a table in a coffee shop. Even though the 11 inch is even smaller, it doesn't mean the 12.9 should only be for those who work from home. fyi, I don't mean this specifically about Canoopsy, it's just an observation I made from most reviews and comparisons on YT. But as someone who used to carry a 3KG 13-inch drawing tablet-computer by Wacom to art college, the 671 grams that is the 12.9 inch iPad Pro is nothing.
@@cmooreHD glad I was able to help (: I found it rly hard to decide as well, and all the reviews were frustrating to watch. As an artist, I kept getting recommended the 12.9 inch, but reviewers kept making it sound like it weighs a ton and is uncomfortable to carry around. As an art student, that was frustrating and I thought I'd have to sacrifice the screen size I wanted! But that's totally not true!
A Krol it’s funny that everyone complains about 0.43lbs like holy cow is .5 a pound that big of a deal breaker to you???? My backpack weighs at least 15 lbs from all the books, notebooks, chargers, and current laptop
I have the 2018 12.9 - and as much as I love it - I found myself always doing couch surfing on my 10.5 Pro. I’m retired, so I have little need to have a full functioning computer - that said, that OG 10.5 was starting to lose battery faster and faster. I could drain it in a matter of hours - so it felt like the right time to upgrade and the 2020 11” just made sense. But I still use both, I use the big boy for media content, and the little boy for reading blogs and social networking etc. I dunno, they both have room in my life - but if I didn’t have the money to have both, I absolutely feel the 11 is the most bang for your buck. They are incredible devices and I haven’t used a PC or laptop in almost 6 years or whenever the very first Pro model came out. And for the record, there is zero noticeable difference in the speeds. The 2018 is still blazing fast, hell, even the 10.5 from 2017 still blazes through anything I need it for, just a bad battery life.
I’m on 12.9 inch iPad Pro, upgrade from the 10.5” iPad Pro. For the first month, the portability is really killing me, but the benefit of having more screen real estate has finally made me feel good about switching to its bigger cousin.
I had the 2017 iPad Pro 12.9”. I loved it and it was great to use, however, it felt too big to carry it around to work and church. I bought the 2018 iPad Pro 11” and have absolutely loved it to bits. It does everything my older iPad Pro did, but it is significantly easier to carry around with me. Do I miss the bigger screen? For a few things, but 90% of the things I do work just as good-or even better-on the smaller screen.
Been debating this for a couple of years now but I think i agree with you. The 11 inch is the way to go. Maybe the perfect size would b3 a 11.5...? I don’t know.
Raul Carr Jr most people prefer 11” in the airplane, in the bus 🚌, in the car, in your backpack 🎒, when go to bed or in the class except if you wanna a laptop replacement, I prefer 12.9”. So, for me as a graphic designer I prefer the 11” as a second device with MacBook Pro 13”. It’s helpful because it supports an Apple Pencil ✏️. I hope they release this size between both (11” & 12.9”) for example 12” it’s perfect 👌
I returned my 12.9” IPad Pro and magic keyboard and bought an 11”. My uses for the IPad are tablet first and work second. The 12.9” IPad with a keyboard is a great laptop a replacement. Ironically at a price a lot greater than the entry level laptop. But since my main use is for consumption and light work the 11 is the better way to go.
When I first bought the iPad, i went with the 11inch. I went with the 11inch because of the price and portability, and of course the reviews I was seeing on the 11inch. Any review I watched it seemed like everyone was going with the 11inch over the 12.9, So i went with the 11inch. When I did, everyone was right, it was just the right size and was very comfortable to hold in one hand. However after a while, I kept thinking of the 12.9 inch. I never walked into a store to try and test out my curiosity. A few months later, I ended up selling my iPad and went solely with the my MBP 13inch. The more I used my MBP, the more I missed my iPad, more specifically I missed iPadOS. The Apps, gestures, touchscreen, I just missed my iPad. So, I got another one, and yes I went with the 12.9 inch. I went with the 12.9 inch because my iPad was going to be my sole device and I wanted it to be a laptop replacement. For personal use, I no longer needed a full fledged OS or laptop. What I needed was a device that I was going to be able to use, and that had software support for my needs and iPAdOS fit that. So for work, I use a Laptop, and for my personal use I use my 12.9 inch iPad. I use my iPad for all my heavy lifting, while i use my Surface Laptop 3 for work and my productivity needs for work. My devices of choice all work great for my needs. My Laptop flies through my workflow, and my iPad performs amazingly for all my personal needs. Canoopsy was right, if you are needing a laptop replacement, the 12.9 inch is the way to go. If you need something to just compliment your laptop or desktop, then that would be the 11inch. But either, perform exactly the same, but the bigger screen does make the iPad a better experience.
Tek Minion I have both and I just use the iPad 12.9’ in vertical mode on my lap most of the time when on the sofa. Sure, you can hold the 11” with one hand and use it that way, but there’s no right or wrong way to interact with these devices. The larger screen is definitely a more immersive experience though, and it’s much more comfortable for watching videos especially with the Smart Folio stand. It fits perfectly on my legs when I’m chilling out on my corner sofa.
I am sold. I am getting the 12.9 inch iPad Pro. I am an aerospace engineering student, and tbh that extra surface area for writing and taking notes will help so much when it comes to long multiple line calculations and even drawing diagrams for physics problems
I am a company director, and I use my iPad Pro as a laptop replacement with a lot of multitasking in my work. Definitely the 12.9” is the size for me. I bought the first iPad Pro 12.9” immediately when it came out in 2015 and the iPad Pro has been my favourite computer device ever since - goes with me everywhere around the world and in my leisure time I also use it to play music, and watch videos. My ageing eyes prefer the larger screen, while particularly with the slimmer bezels from 2018 I still find it a good size to carry. I will probably give the 2020 update a miss, as it does not give any appreciable benefits for me over my 2018 device.
@@craigmorrissey149 Very good! I use for both work and entertainment on air flights. The fact that it is a tablet means it can be used in quite cramped conditions if in economy class
I think a 12 inch would be lovely. The 11 inch is great for portability, no doubt, but when docked in the keyboard folio it’s like you’re crouching down over it. The 12.9 is better in this respect but as a pure iPad, the 12.9 is massive. What do you think?
The 11 inch is just all around the best of the two. It’s more comfortable regardless of where you’re at, whereas the 12 inch is too big under certain conditions.
Started off with the 11” and got envious of the 12.9” Real estate... tbh... I regret not sticking with the smaller size. The 11” is far more comfortable to hold as a tablet whereas the 12.9 I almost always exclusively have it setup with the Smart Keyboard which means some apps that require a portrait mode I barely bother using now. I bought the iPad as my surface pro was still just a computer and I wanted something simpler with a touch focus interface I could just easily pick up and use for content consumption instead of constantly using my phone. Not to be funny but bigger isn’t always better and I’m even finding that with my pro max...
The thing none of them points is that the size of your hands matter more . I have big hands and by the way 12.9" would be a better choise for people like me ☺
Medical student here. Using the MacBook pro-2015 13 inch for almost 4 years now. Even though I tried my friend's 11 inch iPad pro , having a full textbook on one side and Anki cards on the other with readable text not ant looking is a pleasure. Thinking of getting a 12.9 inch because U would like to use something with same size display as my laptop but more portable
I made the biggest mistake buying the 11inch when the pros first were announced. I couldn’t wait til they came out with a new iPad Pro and immediately got the 12.9inch. If you’re on the fence between the two go for the 12.9. If you get the 11 you’ll regret it.
The 12.9" screen makes even more sense using side-by-side workspaces. The new keyboard will make it the perfect tools for traditional laptop users. It's safe to say that the end of the laptop is near.
I've got a gen2 12.9" (with the larger bezels). I'll probably go for a 11"next, as I find this too big. Especially with external monitor and mouse support for when you do require a larger screen
What no one talks about is the screen ratio. The 12.9" is more square shaped. That makes browsing the web with the iPad in portrait mode a more immersive experience.
I got the 12.9 and would never want to go to the 11. If I did I know I would always wonder and want the larger screen. Never have I looked at my 12.9 and wondered or wished I went smaller. Seeing more on my screen is way more valuable then being slightly more portable.
11 inch is small. I used it but couldn’t make myself save money n get it. I bought 12.9 n since then never looked at my books - notebook-laptop. I am loving it n don’t find troublesome carrying it.NO REGRET.
@@mohammedalsarraj9963 I too have 2017 13" MacBook pro but should I buy iPad pro 2020 to write school notes and only like twice a year do school projects which need editing and slight programming. If yes which size should I get? Thank you for reading
Mani well actually, if it’s just for school stuff, web browsing, taking notes go to the 11”. But it doesn’t support a programming language or development like an XCODE or VS.NET and things like that. It’s for school, social media, watching TH-cam, web browsing, photo/video editing and graphic designer (it’s really amazing for graphics and the benchmark is more faster than the MacBook). And I’m happy to help.
@@mohammedalsarraj9963 thank you so much for the in-depth comment, but I am worried 11 inch is too small, isn't 12.9 inch closer to a book size, idk measurements XD
I’ve owned both, but with travel and working in my truck, the 11 is the only way to. My son, who does a lot of the graphic stuff, loves the 12.9 I gave him. It all boils down to your specific need/use.
I bought the 12.9" this time around. mostly because I bought a new macbook a few weeks ago and discovered how awesome sidecar was in my software dev workflow on the go (which is my main setup in these covid-19 times) the 12.9" just gives me so much real estate as a second monitor that it's a no brainer :P
This is the video I needed. My laptop completely broke but I wanted the versatility of the iPad. As I won't actually have a computer for this to compete with I think it's the one for me.
OMG hit the gym if you think the 12.9 is too heavy. LOL. I’ve had the 12.9 since the beginning of the iPad Pro. I travel with it all the time and it fits into any bag. I can’t imagine getting anything smaller. I’ve had iPads from the original iPad 1, iPad Air and so on. The Pro 12.9 is the only way to go.
Because in Singapore is $450 different from 11” to 12.9”.. so which size is affordable, worthy, more usage etc. Carrying it around often, replacement as a average size laptop, good for playing games, watch movies and drawings?
@@crystalclear9791 hey there! For me, it can replace my laptop, unless I need to do real graphic design work that requires InDesign. Canoopsy Like your review. But please help me. You used both sizes, which one you prefer. I need your personal opinion. I’m a graphic designer. And I travel a lot.
Especially as cost is concerned because once you add apple care & tax you're basically actually paying $300 more just for screen size...makes me feel cheated out of my money. Think I'm going with the 11 inch.
I prefer the 12.9 inch. I have the iPad mini which is nice for travelling and much lighter. But I'm also looking at 12.9 inch for work. The older you get, the more you appreciate bigger screen for your eyes.
Wow❗️two of my favorite TH-camrs collaborating. Great job guys and I definitely like the iPad 11” the best, it just fits my recliner in the living perfectly. I just upgraded to the iPad Pro 11” from the iPad Pro 9.7” so the 11” seems large to me. Can’t wait for the New Magic Keyboard.👍✅🤗
They need to offer mini led on the 11". It's the ultimate portable size which will be used outside. That higher nits brightness could have been utilised more on the 11 than 12.9. 12.9 will be used on desk for the most part.
a 12'' ipad is gonna be a perfect size. i wish one day it happens, ill be first in line. i have the 11'' ipad pro 2018 and i take almost all my school notes in it, its very portable and easy to carry around in my opinion. but sometimes in rare circumstances i wish that i got the 12.9'' one but i already have a macbook 13'' so there is no point because i barely take it anywhere because of its size.
When people are wondering whether 11 inch ipad pro will be too small or not, and then there is me with my Ipad mini 5😂😂😂😂 But I gotta say I love this size lol
Alek wójcik tbh, I almost bought the mini 5 over the 11” pro for the size alone. But because of the thinner bezels, Face-ID, USBC, Apple Pencil 2 support, and the fact that it was discounted to $650 at the time, I ended up getting the 11” Pro instead. Although I am satisfied with the 11” Pro, I sometimes wish I’ve gone with the iPad mini, because the 11” can sometimes be a bit cumbersome to hold for a tablet, especially for gaming which I do a lot on my iPad.
Angelo Villones I wonder in the future if apple will do it. The iPad mini has the same processor, The only difference is there’s no Face ID and no Apple Pencil second GEN only first GEN
I’ve got an iPad Mini 5 but considering selling and getting an iPad Pro. Only thing putting me off doing it is how comfortable the iPad mini is to hold. I can hold it in one and scroll through a website. And if I want to type, my fingers can reach all the keys. For gaming it’s also perfect. I just really want the 120Hz screen. I think ideally you’d have both an iPad mini and an iPad Pro but I can’t really afford that lol.
I just bought the iPad Pro 11 with cellular and I mainly use it for reading the news, watching videos and Facebook. I have an iPad Air 2 with cellular and used it as a GPS when I travelled. For a 12 inch might as well get a laptop such as the 13 inch Mac Books.
I use a IPad Pro 11 inch because I’m a high school student and having the smaller size is better for me to just slide it in my binder after class without anyone seeing it and getting stolen. Plus I like using when I watch TH-cam at night
I’ll be using my 11” iPad Pro as a backup to my laptop. So I don’t need another screen almost the same size as my MacBook Pro 🤷🏻♀️ just seems excessive.
11 inches. I use my 12.9 3rd gen iPad Pro for gaming and Its like hell ! It's too heavy and big! If you want to do some gaming with the monster 12 chipsets went for the small guy!
Hi Canoopsy, hope you are well. I’ve three iPads, 10.5 and two 12.9’s. Reference, drawing, and recording simultaneously has loads of perks. Editing is limitless, as doing special effects on the fly and passing it off to another iPad is seamless! I’ve been talking advantage of less is more, till you need a larger screen size as you laid out. Works for me. Keep moving forward. Just a grumpy old man....
Been thinking about if Apple decided to make a 16 inch Ipad Pro, or if the 16 inch macbook pro had a detachable keyboard and a touchscreen compatible with apple pencil. What would the performance be on that beast? For me it’d would be the perfect replacement for a wacom cintiq
I’ve been going back and forth on which size to get. Since I’m considering using this as a MacBook Pro replacement. The 12.9 seems like a no brainer. Thanks for this. Shout out to Noah. ღ his stuff too. Stay up
If there was a 15" ipad pro would you guys buy it? Bigger battery, laptop like screen, full size keyboard on the magic kb etc. at the expense of the portability?
Thanks for your video, great job. As you allude to, It always boils down to what are “you” using it for. I too have been using the 11” iPad Pro since it came out and wanted to see what it was like to have a 12.9” so I picked one up and used it for several weeks. I boiled it down to the same thing that you did .... if it was my laptop computer and I didn’t already own a really nice MacbooK Pro then I would go with the 12.9”. Though it doesn’t run full applications like a laptop, I could probably find workarounds to do what I need to do. Since I do own a nice laptop, the 11” works fantastic and does everything I need it to do. I personally did not find the weight difference to be much of a bother and didn’t take that into consideration when deciding. It would definitely be worth it if I needed the bigger screen. I didn’t find the side by side apps to be full sized as many reviews have reported, they were still smaller so it was not a deciding factor for me. I think that I would have liked the 12.9 better if the screen were not as tall but longer when in landscape view.
Robert Phillips I have both and I just use the iPad 12.9’ in vertical mode on my lap most of the time when on the sofa. It fits perfectly on my legs when I’m chilling out on my corner sofa. By the way I also have a MacBook Pro but I see them as two very different devices for photography purposes as the iPad has the ability to work in any orientation which is a unique advantage for apps like Lightroom.
12.9" is for laptop-like use and the current iPad os can't completely replace laptop, probably never will. By laptop, we need to manually arrange running apps, switching among them seamlessly and running them in parallel in many random sized windows, all in order to maintain high productivity. If iPadOS does all these, it defeats the purpose in the first place as our current laptops are already there and doing these things quite well.
I had iPad Pro 12.9 inch 2 gen was way too big and heavy if u have a desk get it but if u want to use it like iPad get smaller one I will have to save up and get smaller one now
I'm sure many people love their 11 inch iPad Pro but ever since the original 12.9 inch was release I've bought that every new release. I'm very much a believer in the future where your iPad is your laptop. I just can't imagine using the 11 inch over an iPad 7 or iPad Air for a much lower price. I will always make the trade-off of more weight for more screen real estate, same reason why I love my 16 inch MacBook Pro.

i have the 12.9 and i could never go smaller! yes it is a little heavier but i still can carry it, it doesnt lose its portability at all!

Well honestly, the best size for the iPad Pro would be 12”. Maybe at the most you can make it ~12.3”
And when we have that people will ask for 11.5“ or 11.8“
The best is 12.9. ITS PERFECT

As a student that has to look at notes/textbooks while writing or typing at the same time, it really helps to have the 12.9 inch. Some of my friends that have the 11 inch find it hard to utilize the split screen mode as much. Pretty minor difference though.
A 12 inch Ipad would've been literally perfect.
YES 11.9" or 12" in 4/3 ratio!
Same. Not being able to pick between the two just makes me want an in-between size even more
Honestly!!! Best of both worlds as portability and screen size!

I prefer the 11" model. The 12.9" feels like i'm holding a food tray. 😅

@@travelworld2738
2 Months later and no bending or anything like that at all.
A Krol thank you for this. I think you helped me finally make my decision. I feel I’m procrastinating at this point.
@@cmooreHD glad I was able to help (: I found it rly hard to decide as well, and all the reviews were frustrating to watch.

Great video. I have 2018 12.9 and think I might switch to the 11 inch next year if it’s worth it. I miss the portability.
Same here, bigger is better😁
what do you think about ageing eyes in case that 11 inch has less loading for you eyes and brain so it\s more relaxing for the eyes?

I think a 12 inch would be lovely. The 11 inch is great for portability, no doubt, but when docked in the keyboard folio it’s like you’re crouching down over it. The 12.9 is better in this respect but as a pure iPad, the 12.9 is massive. What do you think?
11 ich size for me it will feel more like a tablet having to do computer stuff but in a fun away
The 11 inch is just all around the best of the two. It’s more comfortable regardless of where you’re at, whereas the 12 inch is too big under certain conditions.
I’d make a 11.5 inch iPad Pro, this would be the sweet spot for me.
I'd keep the 11 inch's aspect ratio, just make it half an inch larger diagonally.
I have big hands and by the way 12.9" would be a better choise for people like me ☺
Exactly it's very important.

Angelo Villones they should make the iPad mini the same specs but make the screen bigger and get rid of bezels
Alex Kace I agree. An iPad mini with the iPad Pro design would be amazing and I would definitely get it.
Holy smokes that Noah cameo!! I love it 😍 You guys are such a good pair!! :)
Really liked the packaging and visual effects in this video. Great content, as usual!
Canoopsy: "...but the size is not all that matters here." *zooms* *winks*
Me: Pretty sure he is talking about the iPads, right?
Definitely haha 😂
Size does matter.
@@abhinavsinha9294 Yeah, it does, for some people though. :)
MY GOD HOW MANY TIMES DOES THIS JOKE GET MADE
Been thinking about if Apple decided to make a 16 inch Ipad Pro, or if the 16 inch macbook pro had a detachable keyboard and a touchscreen compatible with apple pencil. What would the performance be on that beast? For me it’d would be the perfect replacement for a wacom cintiq
Lol I was totally not expecting Noah to show up. Great way to show the two sides of a coin tho
I’m literally in LOVE With the 12.9! It’s pert
I’ve been going back and forth on which size to get. Since I’m considering using this as a MacBook Pro replacement. The 12.9 seems like a no brainer. Thanks for this. Shout out to Noah. ღ his stuff too. Stay up
You got it man! It's perfect as a laptop replacement for sure.
so which size u think the best choice at all? thanks
If there was a 15" ipad pro would you guys buy it? Bigger battery, laptop like screen, full size keyboard on the magic kb etc. at the expense of the portability?
If it would be up to me, I’d shave even more from the 11’ iPad bezels and make it a lil bigger. 11.3 might be perfect.
Hey can anyone say that the 12.9 inch ipad pro will be still portable to fit in bags?? Please help.... because i love the 12.9 inch!!
That Noah collaboration was dope, hope to see you on his vids too
I got the 11” in silver. I think it will be the perfect size because of portability and hand held use
By the way I also have a MacBook Pro but I see them as two very different devices for photography purposes as the iPad has the ability to work in any orientation which is a unique advantage for apps like Lightroom.
@scotthunter4 totally agree!
I feel like the perfect size would be in between. Like a 12” or a 12.5”
I had iPad Pro 12.9 inch 2 gen was way too big and heavy if u have a desk get it but if u want to use it like iPad get smaller one I will have to save up and get smaller one now
Noah always looks like he is in the state of a perpetual pre-sneeze.
Great video collaboration
I may sound clueless but what’s blooming? I bought 12.9 over the holidays. What should I look for?
Liked the vid for that wink 😂😂 caught me off guard LMAO
I usually never subscribe to tech channels but that little wink and the first 5 seconds won me over

Tahir Ali that blink 😂
Would suggest the smart folio if you get the 12.9. Makes it easier to prop the iPad up, making the weight less of an issue.
Is anyone else appreciating all those 420s as much as I am?
Best comparison video I've seen! What I most appreciate is the counter argument from Noah. Also, I'm looking forward to an iPad Pro Mini/Air
11 its fit perfectly on my smal bag and i can carry it all day..
