    so i tried it and it turned out great. thank you for the recipe.
    things I'd like to share :
    1. people were doubtful about the coconut going bad if left overnight , it won't go bad don't worry. i let it(the batter) ferment for nearly 12 hours yet it tasted good
    2. don't try to make the dosas thin that won't taste as good as the thick and spongy ones.

    Very nice recipe when dal is not available and yet one wants to eat dosa.
    If a tablespoon of sugar, a teaspoon of cummin seeds are added while grinding and no poha and methi seeds, this becomes VELLAPPAM in Kerala.
    The batter is poured in a greased cake tin and steamed sprinkling a pinch of cardamom powder and a few nuts on top for vattiappam.

    • @agoogleuser1861
      @agoogleuser1861 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You have to make the batter sweet by adding either sugar or preferably jaggery then only the vattayappam will be tasty.
