My south indian friend used to bring this neer dosa for tiffin in school. I've always craved for this dosa. I always wondered how this dosa is made so soft. Today I found it's recipe and I can't thank you enough for this. Neer dosa is love ♥️
Hahaha same story.. my friend Arundhati used to bring it and I loved that.. I had always craved for this recipe after she left school..finally after many years I got to know how to make it 😅🥹
It was my regular breakfast 😋from childhood till I got married. I Started running away from neer dosa. My school , college n office colleagues during potluck on public demand I used to take, my friends still remember this n praise 👏 my Mom ❤ Even my mother inlaw used to prepare. After moving out of India I am now actually missing neer dosa my mom n mother inlaw Thank you for the recipe.
Nice video. 👌Instead of using tissue paper, cut a small onion in half & use the inner side to smear oil. It's organic, no toxins from tissue paper and also gives flavor to the dosa. That's how oil is traditionally smeared onto tava in Mangalore homes.🙂 Later you can use that onion in other dishes as usual.
Yes Sharath.... You are right. I prepare the same way. Half small onion is the best to smear the pan with oil. Later you can use the same onion to your vegs. 👍👍
We use pumpkin stem to apply oil to the pan and cast iron tawa . Lots of coconut in batter and served with jaggery/coconut/beaten rice chutney. There is a spicy version as well where batter is mixed with chilli/spices which comes out as red neer dosa
@@rashmisinghvarma6858 sambhar, coconut and pudina chutney, sweet coconut milk(which we together prepare for Krishna janmashtami) chhole or any curry. I personally loved neer dosas with ghee and sugar mixed trust me it tastes divine

I tried for the first time it came out very well and delicious.. Awesome Recipe 😊👍👍 I'm excited. Thank you! I would suggest all the viewers to follow as it is, no changes please!! U will definitely feel happy for ur effort😊😊
I didn't have a thava with edges So I made it in Kerala appam chatti non-stick pan After taking aatta in a small dish as he showed tilt the pan a bit and rotate immediately Then drizzle oil on the outer edges as shown by the chef and close the lid of appam chatti Keep the flame in medium and then open the lid after few seconds U can see that the edges slowly leaving the pan That time with a spatula carefully take it and fold it and keep it on plate I used kolam rice
Amazing recipe chef, just one suggestion never fold the dosa immediately on the pan instead place it over a wire rack, allow it to cool for a few seconds and then fold, this prevents the dosa from becoming sticky
sushan shetty Thank u so much for this suggestion. I was not knowing about this. N was wondering even though making dosas right why they r sticking. This trick will help me a lot. Thanks once again.👍

Which rice to use ??
@@tejaswinijagtap3082 Any rice will do. But most people use dosa rice (known that way in shops) which is cheaper than regular rice.
