Now THAT is music!!!!! Actual well written lyrics, music and clear singing that encapsulates a universal human experience.
We need more well thought out songs rather than these endless noise (some called "music") prevalent over the radio waves and coming through current music videos. Garbage that fail to have any sort of well thought out form, such that continuous expletives are used to mask talentless individuals.
I love eighties and this sweet song. Please think of spandau ballet "through the barricades" and Billy Idol " sweet sixteen". You are my favourite couple who react to those songs. I appreciate very much your kindness ❤❤❤

This genre of music is called "Sophisti-pop" and was actually more common in early to mid 80's rather than late 80's when this song came out, nevertheless...Also, this is the American version of the video, the original British one(as this is an English band) has a different vibe.

Totally agree sophisti pop as you call it was big in mid 80s , aztec camera, prefab spout , the style council etc I didnt think JHJ as belonging to that genre but it makes sense
