I knew from her reaction, the look on her face that she knew it, and that she had lived every word.. In a way I'm glad it's just a nice catchy song to me..

He plays videos and interrupts to give his insightful thoughts. But for one of the few times, he let your song play through and he was impressed. C'était une merveille.

I always thought this song needed to be in 4th gear not 2nd. There was one recording the John Prine did that the tempo seemed faster. I think it was PBS or something it was on tv. The VCR recording does it no justice. Great song though.
Nice job, kids! I have to say that the setting strikes me as a trifle tacky. I greatly enjoyed the audio ... but found myself distracted by David's (excessive) grimacing. Still in all .. very nice rendition of a classic.
