I am an 80 year old Vietnam Combat Veteran who bought his first guitar at age 16. I have enjoyed The French Family Band since discovering you folks a year or so ago. The horror of things going on in America today, has robbed me of my peace of mind, but, listening to this video, a precious one to me, has returned my mind to a state of peace, at least for a little while. Hi John first off thank you for all you have done for our USA, without men like you to protect our freedom we wouldn't have the life we have here. Please know millions around this great country feel the same way. My grandfather fought in WW2 (ARMY) the battle of bulge in armored tanks and he saw horrible things over there and he'd be mad as hell if he knew what is going on today in our own country. Let me say on behalf of him and my father (NAVY) in korea, and my two uncles (MARINES) in vietnam, you are not alone, men like you are thought of every day here. So from a family of three wars, I thank you sir for all you've done ! God bless !

I've never heard this song so I went out and found others who have done it, after listening to several other versions yours is the best. You all have great voices that blend so well together. The genres of music I enjoy are very diverse - Rock, Classic Rock, Electronic, Classical, and now your music has been added to my list. Because I came across your album I've been listening to some other classic country artist like Les Paul and Mary Ford, and Chet Atkins. I think people miss out of a lot of great music if they limit their listening to just one genre. Tell Sonny I like the Beatles, Beach Boys, Pink Floyd and the Eagles too. He has good taste!
