She’s definitely a conversation starter when anyone sees her. I will get her restored but I may not have time this winter with needing her to do some work in spring
I have a 454 International with an oily exhaust. I mowed the hay with it one summer and she's been good as gold since. See if you can stick the 188 on a rotavator or power harrow for a couple of hours, you'll be suprised at what comes out of the exhaust!
I've not seen a 188 on Tracks before must say she looks an interesting Machine, well worth restore. Agriline Products UK might be worth a look.

@@SpudSlingsby I think I might just give that a go to see
Certainly a unique machine 🤔 looking forward to seeing it doing some work , Agriline tractor parts may be worth a shout for parts 👍
Cheers I’ll give them a go and see. I think I’ll hold on the restoration until I get some work done with it
@TheClassicFarmer they're also good prices for run of the mill consumables filters etc 👍
Do you still have the potato harvester in the photos
I do yes.
What's the history? Do you know who did the Trac conversation?
We did the track conversion around 2001
I'd buy that 188 to put it back on rubber wheels
It’ll never be sold or back on rubber it’s priceless to me
@@TheClassicFarmer what did the track come off ? Looks the part
@ the tracks are from 2 drott loading shovels welded back to back.
If you could put it on a dyno that would free up the rings if that's the problem
Now that’s a good idea I wonder if there’s any mobile dynos near me
@@TheClassicFarmer I saw one recently and I think it might have been in Cowans garage, the New Holland dealer
@@Gearoid35 if it's that bad it won't happen
