Her band sizzles. She is a huge talent. So creative. The recorded version of Closet has so many layers, amazed she can perform with just synth, bass and drums.
It's my first listening , i'm alone in the night and suddenly i'm feel smooth and cool because of this very good song. DAMN this is very simple cool smooth and jazzy JUST PERFECT!!!

Some observations from a NewYorkfunker: Shin, my dude, or rather subdude--because your R&B playing is solid but subtle and subdued, perfectly behind the beat. The drummer reminds me of James Gadson, Marvin Smitty Smith, Bernardo Pretty Purdy and the like.. Keys are classic, love the Rhodes-Hammond combo, and I assume he's triggering the vocal doubling (?). The melodic vocals are sweet--Sumi's tone and timbre are crystalline--tremolo waivers remind me of Eartha Kitt's. I'd love to play all over that shit! And I mean good SHIT! 👏🙏
