Suite for Six Trumpets is Marcus Grant’s very first piece for trumpet sextet and was inspired
by the discovery of the National Trumpet Competition during his later days of high school. Once
in college, he took his first attempt at writing the piece in hopes that it would someday make an
appearance on stage at the National Trumpet Competition. Since then, the piece has seen
performances from the United States Army Band Trumpet Ensemble and has become one of his
most popular works for chamber ensemble, contributing in many ways to the success of his
career as a composer and arranger. A few years after the Army Trumpet Ensemble's tour with the piece, this recording of Suite for 6 Trumpets was set up with Concentus Trumpet Ensemble from Portugal.

I can totally hear where you got some inspiration for little moments in this. It's so cool that we have so many common influences! :)
It's also really cool to see how your musical voice has changed and really come into its own as you've done more and more stuff. Love love love it
