Joseph Patrick Anthony toured the U.S. in a swing band while still in his teens. In his twenties, he travelled throughout the western hemisphere as a U.S. Navy trumpet player. He later became a founding member and principal trumpet of The Buckingham Brass. His trumpet compositions reflect high hopes for a bright future for humanity.
