Yep. Me and my friends were talking about it too. Originally, Chinese were ok with doing business overseas to get these things, but when sanction happened, that drove Chinese to want focus on its own research. This is because they need it and since they cannot access it anywhere, they decided to do their own.

Open source. Incredible and a gift to the world! What a coup for emerging economics with limited resources but with talented scientists and engineers such as Iran and Egypt as 2 examples. This is part of China's philosophy of "seeding the developing world" with tech and infrasture. With initiatives such as the Belt & Road (150+ countries), and BRICS. Countries that would otherwise be BLOCKED by US Hegemony and other Western Anglo Neocolonial powers. Don't forget the incredible energy savings. BTW, don't expect Trumps AI initiative to be very successful. Why? It's the US throwing money at the problem without any industrial or strategic policy and planning. And we KNOW the money will not be equably distributed. Much will be laundered to their "buddies" just like the Biden Admin did. Why do you think the big tech firms, deserted the Dem's and were in "Power Ranger" mode at Trumps inauguration? Americans are morons to believe they can harness AI brainpower and keep it within their borders, or - unethically - only distribute it to slected partners, countries who kowtow to them. Underestimating China, like they have with Russia, is a grave, almost unrecoverable strategic mistake. It guarantees that China will eventually take leadership as they already have with the majority of critical tech. China's Education and Talent is a Grounding Force. China graduates more PhD Scientists and Engineers, and grads in ALL STEM fields than the US and G7 countries combined! China's University System is now ranked #1, most comprehensive, and their universities lead in many of the core critical technologies required of the "4th Industrial Revolution" which they also lead. Unless the US can pull its head out of the "Zero-Sum Rabbit Hole" and discover "Win-Win" collaboration and equality with countries of color, America's tech future will be on the descending spiral. And "This is the Way" to America's decline...
A significant portion of AI researchers in the US are of Chinese origin because China has heavily invested in AI education, producing a large pool of talented researchers who often migrate to the US for further studies and career opportunities, making them a prominent presence in the American AI research landscape; this is further fueled by the strong emphasis on STEM fields in Chinese education, leading to a high number of qualified candidates in the field.
This is a market correction, maybe they are just looking for someone to blame The question is did it really cost billions to train or not, in a way they might be scamming their investors and customers

OpenAI invited CIA agent to be in its leadership board. I don't want to believe in conspiracy, but...

us doesn't even have an anti corruption initiatives lol, we celebrate corruption via political lobbying, we love it being legal 🤣🤣. we'd rather play left vs right games rather than protesting lobbying 🤣
我爷爷2型糖尿病,开了一个月的二甲双胍 和阿卡波糖 结算才4块人民币。让我真的感动❤
是的,越发觉得他是一位伟大的领导人。
welp, they caught us. time to resume money printing!
LMAO
Fortunately this time AI is in the hands of civilization.😀
5:05 Abit of coping and self boosting there at the final part. How is 30 times more efficient and performing the same or better a number 2 globally?
They have the best minds and engineers in the world, the Chinese
@@passby8070 it proves someone was cheating on this
Where all the money invested in AI goes? As a software engineer it's not in our pockets 😂
USA even, its not in our pockets. They wanted to make this seem like Chinese Americans vs Chinese in China, but it is really Wealthy white oligarchs of Silicon valley vs Chinese in China.
And they worry about TikTok security 😂
Pop pop pop burst Ai bubble
The US tech stock value should be 3% of the existing value.
Exactly
Not 3%.. but definitely around 20% of actual value reflects true value
Totally agree with you

ChatGpt took 150 over millions to develop.
Deepseek took 5.9 millions to develop.
so near 4%.
ChatGPT hires full time people to develop the system.
Deepseek is a small fraction of a Hedge Fund company project and is developed part time.
I just make a straightforward calculation.
When dollar is world trade currency, everyone wants to sell products to the US to get dollar. When they're full of dollar in their pocket, what do they do? They invest in other things. They don't feel appealed in projects in Turkey (thus, sell dollar to get lira), or projects in South Africa (thus, sell dollar to get Rand). And the US financial market becomes lucrative because of being more convenient: use dollar to invest dollar-asset. If the whole world does like this, the US financial market is swamped with dollar. The investors have to compete to buy stocks in US Stock exchange, boosting the value of each stock. You can clearly see the bubble...
Thank you China. The world is grateful for such a gift.
Let me be brutally honest, we are always ahead until we are not.
TikTok, RedNote, Deepseek, more to come!
Much more. There are alot of stuff in China that isn't open to the public yet, but China already have been able to produce anything that TSMC have especially the most advance stuff.
I know this because my friend who is taiwanese is from Taiwan and it was like 3 years ago when he said "China already can produce anything that TSMC have. Everything that is going to be available in Arizona will be the older tech."
lets ban deepseek😆
lets ban opensource
What an irony!
OpenAI: closed source and confined.
DeepSeek: open source and public.
Don't compete with Chinese on Math and derivatively on AI, LOL.
Scarcity + Necessity = Creativity.
They say, the Chinese cannot innovate 😂😂
Deepseek token prices for 1 million tokens way cheaper than OpenAI too its not even close
So, im running Deepseek R1 8b with 32k context window and the context quantized to 8bit, on 6GB Vram....insane
You're not running Deepseek R1. It requires 100s of GBs of VRAM. You are running a normal model trained on Deepseek replies.
@@isekaidev7803share the source to support your statement, please
@isekaidev7803 wrong, I'm running distilled quantized R1.
Indians and India do not have any AI companies, AI products, AI services that are worth mentioning but you see them bragging all day 24/7. 😅That is the difference between Indian ceos/techies/tech gurus/IT experts versus Chinese ceos/techies/tech gurus/IT experts. Chinese believe that their achievements speak louder than words whereas Indians believe that their words speak louder than their achievements (if any🤭). And that is why Indian ceos/techies/tech gurus/IT experts were scripted to be very intelligent and capable on the internet, but in the real world/reality, none of them could not make any app to compete with the Chinese TikTok or the China's DeepSeek AI. Overpaid and over-hyped and over-rated.😆Indians said that Indians rule the tech AI/IT world? 🤔
Are these companies 1) founded by Indians? No
Are these companies 2) made/created by Indians? No
Are these companies 3) owned (ownership) by Indians? No
Indians should constantly ask themselves, what happened to Indian CEO, Parag Agrawal? 🤭
DeepSeek is so amazing 😻
Americans will also reverse Engineer Deepseek, and make a better model
Jai Hind. God father of AI is Geoffery Hinton, but the god of AI is Liang Wen Feng.
No. China is number 1 competitor. Congratulations.
That's why China instead of USA is 5he biggest challenger of India
Yeah. If you been to Shenzhen, you will be amazed
China know how to do it….kings of innovation….
Robert seems like he is to cry . He is thinking how can I ever charge my customer Mt Everest price now if these peasant farmer keep on ploughing the field!😅
Forget about the USA: it’s expensive, old school, closed mind, win-loose strategy; here comes China, it’s affordable or free, new kid on the block, win-win strategy.
Deepseek success implies less GPU demand acceleration . So evaluation of AI comes into ?
DeepSeek is so fun to use. It litarlly feels like having Jarvis as a best friend. Game changer
Everything Made in China Even Peace IYKYK 🐉☎️.
Competition and progress 👍🏾
If they can make Tiktok algorithm. Ai is jo different
it's so hilarious, several 5 massive trillion dollar social media companies and none of them can replicate tiktok's algo success lmao.
Yeah. Americans still don't understand tiktok algorithm completely, but Chinese have the best people to make the AI right now.
The chip restrictions are actually helping them look for efficient ways to deliver AI solutions, the lesson here is sometimes when you think you are blocking an opponent you are actually helping them think better than they would have without the restrictions... 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
