2. US tech company is too much overpaid. They suck the margin from world therefore there is news that the salary of one single management in US tech firm can feed the entire Deepseek team. Where the money come from?
Its good to see Deepseek brings new air to the world.
The cost of most things made in America is crazy. Telsa cars, Apple products, Harly Davidson, Microsoft, and just about any other product from that country. They can't handle the competition without trying to sue the companies. Wake up world, there is much better value out there.

China's startup just provided a little competitive space to US arrogance, which is good. This will spur more innovative AI companies in china to dominate quickly

Love it, Faster, smarter and cheaper..and its open source
I thought China could do nothing w/o US chips, has US banned enough China companies?
China can manufacture its own mature chips, SMIC

Honestly, I don't see how this is a threat. In fact, it's enlightening. Before long, many are going to copy their method, and hardware power will never be enough.
It's kinda hilarious that DeepSeek was published around the same time that Trump announced to burn even more money on AI with the Stargate initiative.
And it's not surprising that some of the other bright people on the planet came up with a better solution than what Nvidia with their roots and GPU development and the AI models that are optimized for it, offer.
In fact, I've been waiting for it for the last two years.
The only surprising thing is that people still hold on to their OpenAI and Nvidia stocks to such a high degree. -- But then again, Bitcoin gambling is still strong despite being totally useless.

Chinese government to spend $150bn on AI in response to Trump’s pledge.
There is no OpenAI stocks because they are a private company....
If you lose the game, the best way to win is to prevent the opponents from joining the game. The sanctions should be continued and expanded and the new model of AI shuould be developed. The US needs more advanced chips to win China, once the development of new model succeeded, the US with the advanced chips can crunch deepfake easily.
This is a wild take.
Trump announced last week a 500B$ investment in US AI industry, China’s getting it done at a much lower cost.

Didn’t Xi pledge to spend $150bn in response to Trump? I don’t think you keep up with the news.

It great to highlight the ongoing competitive nature of the market, in tech. Don't listen much to the instinct of panic even in the realm of intelligence. This could be a positive development, as it may help eliminate poor investment choices. The focus should remain on building robust AI infrastructure for the long term.i am long Nvidia and msft and will buy more into the new fews dips. Love it
I'd love to know the senators that likely inside traded nvidia + co while knowing the 500b announcement just for deepseek to pull out this massive check mate. I hope they are rushing for collateral this morning just to hold.
This is not China's AI best model by far. Deepseek is just a small sample of what they have and probably a small test to see how the world and mainly the US market and users would react to it. Trust me I know chinese.
The US market commands 60% global market cap with 26% global GDP and 16% global manufacturing output. The millions who emptied their life savings into the fray and created the mispricing, should rightly be concerned, not the hegemony dealers.
Wexxo’s innovative approach to gaming makes it one of the best projects right now.

As an investment enthusiast, I often wonder how top-level investors are able to become millionaires through investing. I have a significant amount of capital to start with, but I'm unsure about the strategies and direct I should take to help me generate substantial profits like some people are this season.
I’m not in a position to offer financial advice, but given the significant amount of capital you're working with, it would be wise to consult a financial advisor who can guide you in developing a strategy tailored to your goals and risk tolerance.
Following a devastating portfolio loss in 2020 due to the pandemic, I sought the expertise of an investment advisor. Their guidance proved instrumental in transforming my seven-figure portfolio. The strategic support I received made all the difference in revitalizing my investment success."
Thanks for sharing your experience! I’ve been managing my portfolio myself, but it’s not working out. Do you have any recommendations for a good investment advisor? I could really use some help.

Impressive commentator, having a lot to say and using the exact allotted time to say it all.
Deepseek runs on NV GPU, but not a hard requirement, it could run on other newer Chinese made AI chips, and even faster, it's just what their startup company had at that time.
Im long on AMZN, which I think will be resilient due to excellent profitability, decent cash flow, and a focus on app-agnostic infrastructure. Nobody is leading AMZN for scale on cloud infrastructure, and their expansion in to South and SE Asia is heating up, with AWS in particular having a strong presence in South America.
Adaxum’s presale is gaining momentum, and I’m thrilled to be part of it.
We all need to take a deep look into DeepSeek's claim on how much and how long it took to build their product/model, instead of taking things in the face value. Remember, the tech industry has had the "fake it until we make it" culture for ages.
Deepseek是1,后面的0就看你自己怎么用他了。
Adaxum’s focus on real utility is impressive.
XRMI and QRMI ETFs buys protective puts to mitigate the risks of a major market selloff.
Until something much better comes out that blows deepseek out of the park
You are missing the point. Deepseek just yanked the tag of innovation from US Tech companies. Tech Stocks are currently taking massive body blows. Some may take some powerful liver shots before the week runs. Nvidia down 12% yeah go figure.
Their valuations and projections in the AI space have been rendered shallow at best and useless at worse.
And just WHERE would that something much better come from? The US, which as you can see has over-invested in the existing US tech giants?
@ it’s not innovation; it’s a different use of an existing AI product. This means they can’t innovate, they can only improve upon already developed stuff. They weren’t first with an AI LLM, and they will be outdone by someone else and will go out of business. This industry is not about the product, but the direction of a series of products.

Not to mention that ChatGPT is an innovation and DeepSeek a copy. I am European. No matter which video I come across, hundreds of thousands of comments under the videos, including those from Americans, are happy about the downfall of their country. Even I, who have a greater Western awareness, do not understand their reaction. Is this normal?

o brave new world! I could only imagine the amount of chaos when an average westerner would realize that there are other items that are like 10 times cheaper, ie tuition fees for 3k per year, appendicitis and other surgeries for 2-3K, decent EVs for 15K
Well, this is a wake up call for Americans, who focused and spent all their time, effort, resources and money on woke agendas, promoting LGBTQ and diversity for the last 2-3 decades, while China focused on science and technology, engineering and research and development.
