- Friends! I haven't done a realistic homeschool day in the life in a while! So I wanted to catch up and share how our Homeschool is looking like lately. I love how homeschool can be flexible. Although, I am currently still in the city visiting family we can take our homeschool to wherever it might be!

You and your husband are doing such a great job with your kids! I have been homeschooling my kids for just a little over a year now. I still work a full time job (been working from home since 2020) and I homeschool them after work. It is a busy day but so rewarding. I am thankful for your videos, I have been watching for a year and you were a big inspiration for me making the leap to pull them out of public school to homeschool. Keep moving forward, you're a wonderful mom and wife and your videos are helping so many of us - especially these ones that are REAL and not some glammed up production. We have been thinking about one of those paw washers for our German Shepherd - do you love it?? Our yard gets so muddy and she loves to run right through the mud (of course).

Hi! I noticed you have a phonics workbook. Would TGATB alone be enough to teach to read? Or would I need to supplement? I'm considering TGATB.
I'm going to explain why I'm using that in an upcoming video... but long story short... all my resources including the newest level are on my land... I thought I would be home by now... TGTB is definitely more than enough!

I know you mentioned going through different school seasons so you start different times but what is your average start time ? End time? Each day? I am struggling with finding my rhythm and routine. I find it difficult to manage thfee kids with different curriculums and how to prep, plan, and execute it all 🤦♀️

Now to answer the question I have been homeschooling for three years now. I have three sons a 8, 6 and 2 year old. My 8 year old did go to kindergarten but during that year I was questioning and researching and made the decision to just homeschool my kids. It was a little challenging because I would questioned what if they miss out, but honestly my other reasons of my WHY I was even considering homeschooling over throw any doubts. So now I’m here and glad I made the decision 😊 thank you for your videos! So helpful

HI Gina love your videos! This is my second year homeschooling my son who is in kindergarten. My daughter is almost 4 and my baby is 5 months. Definitely agree with you on the flexibility of time and daily rhythms. We're not bound to times! Also we tried the universal yums box last month and the kids and hubby love it! We have a monthly subscription now.

Second, I’ve been homeschooling coming up on 4 years next month. The shutdowns 4 years ago pushed me to finally take control and live the dream with my babies! They are 7 and 9 and we are loving homeschool. Finally finding a good groove and figuring out how they learn
(so differently)!

I homeschooled during the pandemic, then we moved across Canada again so we had to restart. We entered the public system but I’m being called to do homeschooling again soon. I think I fell in love with it when I thought it was just a season for us. Thanks for your content :) going to check out that conference you mentioned!

I love the real and raw life videos! We decided to start home/unchooling 4 yrs ago when our daughter was in kindergarten. One of the best decisions we have made! Now we have a 4th and 1st grader. I learn so much every day! Just like the paw cleaner!!! Like, WHAT??!?! I'm very excited about it lol

I am a momma of 6 and number 7 is almost about to make its arrival! We are currently in our 6th year homeschooling. And this has been our best year yet! I have finally gotten away, for the most part, of a public school mindset. (Which I went through all growing up) Though it has taken us awhile to find our rhythm, we have gotten there! And I’m so thankful!!! I am currently teaching a 5th grader, 3rd grader, 2nd grader, kindergartener, and an eager 4 year old who enjoys doing school with our kindergartener!

I homeschooled my 3 just in high school, they were in public school up until then. I really wish i could have done it though from the beginning. I'm visiting my mom... we were supposed to go back but we were without our truck that got robbed. It was a really complicated process that just got resolved a couple of weeks ago which delayed all our plans and my husband's work! Hopefully we will be back in our land soon! And returning to our tiny home :)
