Elevate that sauce with a tiny bit of Dijon mustard, cognac, and maybe a shallot. The roll up and chill technique seems pretty legit. I'll be making this soon. I may stuff it with crispy prosciutto or black forest ham. For the cheese emmentaler, swiss, gouda hmm something that melts well.
i tried this using bacon and its so good. the ham might be better becoz bacon doesnt seem to fit the consistency. the white sauce is also good. its so easy to make.
