Han Solos death should have been heroic. A sacrifice made to save other characters or to ensure the destruction of an enemy. Not a cold-blooded murder by a son who was pissed at his deadbeat dad. And your take on the force and physcal exertion is spot on. If using the force is about forming a strong connection with life and the universe then why would using that connection to it's maximum potential drain the life from the user?
yeah it only occured to me when I was taping this video and now I'm low key ticked about it. Doesn't track with past lessons on the power of the Force.
@@StephenKentMedia exactly. The Force isn't a telekinetic power a la Stranger Things. It is the ability to access a power that is already present all around us. Thus Luke's death makes no sense and is a complete waste.

You somehow managed to skip past the line, "Kylo Ren"s a bitch!" And it's definitely a line worth mentioning. Also, Lost Souls has a couple more songs out now.

For Star Wars Here's the Expectations for the OT characters. Luke running a full fledged Jedi Academy, not the Hide and Seek Champion of the Galaxy. When it comes to demonstrating his power in the force, using Subtle means up to Big, and an Absolute Badass with a lightsaber, like a Master Samurai like Musashi. Han and Chewie being the Go Between for the New Republic and the Outer and Middle Rims and maintaining Underworld contacts. Still a scoundrel but Dedicated to his Wife and kids, not a dead beat. Still an Amazing Pilot, still a quick draw with his Blaster, maybe given another blaster of another type demonstrating Growth and Advancement in Skills since last seen in ROTJ. And Han should have died going out like a hero, not a punching bag for a Misguided Emo son. Leia as former Senator returned to a rebel style General should have been a Real SMART Talker, Not a Schemer, but can Weed Out a Schemer And Counter them to get what she wants. Chewie being Chewie, maybe actually see him rip a Droid apart, chuckle at all the Funny stuff, Hug his friends and Copilot then Become the Owner of the Millennium Falcon after Han's death. The DST Should have played out as follows. Film One Satisfies the Wait since ROTJ by having the film Focus on the OT Cast for 60% of the story with them All in the Falcon for a Mission that Brings In the NEW Characters as Wars often do. In this plan, Han doesn't Die until Second Film. Why? Because we've Waited for them since ROTJ...we want TIME with them. It's a REUNION between the characters and US and we NEEDED That. And to get Everyone on board the Falcon would have been LANDO with Threepio and R2 in tow with the groups KIDS. Film 2 the Story is Split 50/50 as the OT characters have a Mission that is DANGEROUS and Unsure of Success. But its Necessary as the Success Facilitates whatever the New Cast are doing on Another Mission. This is where Han Dies...where Luck runs out. The situation Grim unless a Life is Spent...so he does that and saves everyone on his mission and ensures the success for the other teams Mission. A great Victory at a Heavy COST. But a HEROIC Loss to be Properly Mourned by the OT characters FIRST then by the New characters who are Just Now EARNING their own Respect for Actions, bravery, overcoming challenges, fails along the way. Then for the Last film it's simply 60% about the New Characters in the story Lead while the remaining OT characters do Other important Things but the More Important things to deal with end up being taken down by the New Cast. An EARNED Trajectory. Just like when we see Superman we Expect him to Act like Superman. Batman has to Be Batman and Do the Things that make him Batman. Whatever anyone Critic for Genre characters might have...there's a Unifying Message among the heroes that connects with fans. "NEVER GIVE UP, NEVER SURRENDER."
