Yeah Ross is full of shit. One thing I didn't like about the movie is the fact that Cap didn't stand up and bring up these points to both Ross and Stark. Hey Tony, you gonna hand in your tech to the government next? I seem to recall Senator (who later was proven to work for Hydra) tried to take your tech from you and you told him to F-OFF. This is the same argument. So the government wants to take over The Avengers? Who is to say that the UN hasn't been taken over by Hydra or someone else evil?
Exactly. The fact that they completely ignored everything the general has done in the past REALLY bothered me during the scene where he gives them the accords.
I'm also surprised no one brought up that in The Avengers the security council was willing to just nuke New York City, so not only did the heroes save the people from Loki and the Chitari but also from the trigger-happy government. They want to say the heroes need to be "put in check" because there have been casualties, but how many more would there have been had Cap and the others not been there? C'mon, Cap, stand up for yourself!
After watching this, I wouldn't be surprised if General Ross had some ties to HYDRA and using all the Avengers collateral damage to control them to their bidding. Anyone who watches Agents of SHIELD will know a certain member of the World Security Council is one the main people in HYDRA.
+NaijaHollow That's very interesting. I personally couldn't continue watching Agents of Shield after the first few episodes but it's great to hear what's going on in the show every now and then. Thanks for your input AO and thanks for watching! Always appreciated. :)
In Natasha's defense, the creators said that Steve genuinely didn't know Bucky killed the Starks. There's a good chance Nat didn't know either. Nat signed the Accords in an attempt to rectify her actions as an assassin, but she realizes that she's wrong and helps Steve in the end

Not to mention he blackmails the kid and guilt trips him into fighting on his side

I know I’m late to this but I’ve dwelled on it watched the movie again. Steve’s just at fault. He easily could of turned Bucky over and said let’s continue forward with trying to free his innocence. I mean even Tony at the end went there with the same belief to help them and free bucks name. Tony is the only one who knew thanos was coming and trying to keep the team together. He may have been manipulated or following the wrong person but Steve easily could of turned Bucky over had vision and Wanda protect him in jail and they all go together to free bucks name. To say Tony’s at fault is just as wrong. He had the right idea just the wrong way of getting there same as cap.
Except that anyone violating the Accords (i.e. Bucky) would have no right to an attorney or trial. There would be no chance to exonerate Bucky even if Steve was able to prove him innocent. Wanda was also under house arrest; she was in no position to protect anyone. And Vision signed the Accords, meaning he was prohibited from intervening in any way without the express permission of the UN. And let's be clear, Tony was the one who tore the Avengers apart, not Steve. He knew about the Accords and allowed his teammates to be blindsided. Let's not forget that the Accords were only created because of Tony. He was the one who made Ultron, he is the one who should bare the responsibility for it. All the other Avengers did was try to stop Ultron. The Avengers didn't need to be put in check, *Tony* did. He's an enormous hypocrite; first of all the Accords wouldn't affect him nearly the same way they would affect Steve, Wanda, Vision, or Bruce (OR PETER) because he is not an enhanced individual. Second of all, he fought the government when they wanted to control him. But when they want to control his teammates, suddenly it's okay? Tony didn't push the Accords because he thought it was the right thing to do. He pushed the Accords to alleviate his own guilt and push responsibility off to someone else. *Tony Stark is completely at fault for Civil War*

Captain America is the good side of America and Tony Stark is the bad side of America. Rewatch all the movies and pretend Cpt and Tony are America when speaking or when being spoke too. Cpts remark about trying to win a war before it begins always leads to innocents being hurt, is a direct jab at our foreign policy. In short Tony will break the rules to win captain won't. Thoughts?
Good points. My main thoughts are that Tony is way too sensitive and doesn't use that brain of his sometimes like in Civil War. It's true, they need to be less reckless when in the middle of battle but the rest of the Avengers are saving people. It's Tony who seems to be causing trouble, especially in Age of Ultron. What really annoyed me about him though was when the Secretary of the State (the general who wanted to weaponise the Hulk) came to them and he basically wanted to control them and use them as his own personal army. The Cap said "These are people with agenda's and agenda's change." There was a lot of truth to that as the X-General wanted to make a Hulk army but he couldn't do that, so now he decided to do the next best thing, gain control over the Avengers. He is basically a villain and a threat to the team yet Tony immediately just blindly accepts it and he regrets it later. So overall even though I see where Stark was coming from, he completely rushed into this and he brought as a direct result he endangered his team. That's my thoughts on the whole thing.
bro bro bro. Let me just let you know that captain americas team did KILL captain raods. And the reason iron man wants superheroes following the law is because superheroes don't have guid lines. SO they end up doing bas stuff and tony knows that as he has already done it. But he wants to amend his mistakes. and if you think about it captain america isn't so innocent. Why u ask. He started the civil war he is the one that gathered superheroes to fight against his own country. Not really true technically Captain America is no villain neither with Iron Man it's zemo forced this plan also using mind control as a reason doesn't make sense I get that Tony was like yeah yeah you kill them blah blah blah but that is because I'm pretty sure no one who is agreeing with you has lost both of their parents as a kid
#TeamCap
he's not talking to captain america directly, he's talking to the new avengers team, the trailer puts it together to look like it's just at captain america because it's HIS movie so of course everything will be about captain america in the trailer, but he's talking to the avengers when they say they need to be put in check, and they only show clips where he was in them, wait till you see the movie to say something, you fucked up in the "bizarro" theory you made so wait till you see the movie
David Lopez we have all seen the movie now, so as the past movies and this movie have proven Stark is a borderline villainous hypocrite who blindly followed the accords out of guilt, not cause it's the right thing to do. If you everyone else can't see that then that is truly unfortunate.
I am on caipten Americas team
No
Ironman is not a villiain
I agree with this video
maybe tony is intelligent enough to see that captain america represents the most dangerous and evil country in the world ?
Jk jk
Or am I joking ?
Dude that hulk movie is not a part of marvel cinematic universe
Yes he is. They just changed the actor. Also, Abomination is going to be in the She-Hulk series on Disney Plus. So The Incredible Hulk is a part of the MCU.
@@EricCarter12 2003 hulk vs 2008 incredible hulk please
im #teamstark
Cap: "He's my friend."
Stark: "So was I."
Oh really, Stark? Tell me, if Bucky was trying to hunt you down and kill you, don't you think Steve would be fighting Bucky in order to protect you?
Stark is an asshole, in the comics, movies, cartoons, whatever he's in. He's always an asshole.
