I built a Hinata deck after I traded for it at prerelease! Some things that I have in my deck: - Smoldering Egg: can transform into Ash Dragon with relative ease under Hinata, then the instants and sorceries REALLY begin to hurt. - Shark Typhoon: Because Sharknado. Also Hinata makes high CMCs out of X spells for very little mana input, so we'd be getting a metric boatload of sharks. - Volcanic Offering: One red to destroy two lands and deal seven damage to two creatures? Yes please! - Snap: This and all the other "counter and untap" spells actually *net* you mana when played while Hinata out. Fantastic value! - Apostle's Blessing: Discount of a mana and paying two life for the Phyrexian white make this essentially free to give one of your creatures protection from artifacts. - Crush Contraband: Choose both to exile two things for only one and a white!
Sharknado is a card I want to put in as soon as I procure another copy. There are SO MANY good plays for Hinata, this deck will just never run out of fun, new options.
Hinata is my next deck I'm making after Isshin for our commander show! it's going to be such a fun deck. Thank you so much for this video, it's helped to no end!
So hinatas ability means spells cost one more for each target which means if you have three creatures out then spells cost three less for other spells? Is that correct?
I'd go with "almost everything this video says to play in the deck" hits borderline too-salty levels. Which is why I'm building Hinata a fourth way: auras/Voltron. Enjoyed the video, even if it didn't offer up a whole lot that will be making my build!
@@philipwilson6472 voltron is always an appreciated strategy! I think your right though - Hinata does seem to make darn near everything salt-level good
That's the only way to build decks tho lmao. Use what you got, wing it, find out it's trash, pump it up with half your paycheck, find out it's still trash, then love it anyway 😅

My first thought when I saw this video was Curse of the Swine. Hinata just made blue arguably the best board wipe in the game. Nuts.
Always gotta find a way to make blue the best at everything
Hinata was my first deck. I haven't played it in a while but am giving it a once over. Magma opus ends up only costing 2!
The "do nots" section killed me! 🤣
Switching it up with the new outro? I dig it.
The actual list is MUCH long too - had to cut it down haha
I knew this commander would be pretty awesome!
You build it yet? Have you experienced any salt from it or just been a fun add to the colleciton?
Ooo Lot of interactions with this card & Spicyness.
Yes indeed! ALLL the interaction

How much salt is too much in a Hinata deck?

I built this one as soon as I pulled 3 from my set booster box
That was a good move...I hope...assuming you still have people willing to play against it!
@@MountainManMagic, considering some of my other decks include tergrid and a pure stax derevi, they dont mind this one, lmao
Spicy deck! Or salty depending on which side of it you are on 😂
Haha exactly - Fun to pilot, not fun to be punished by it!
