that freehub sound check technique was exceptional, saddle behind the neck and hand on the brake. The others could do with a lesson, he made it look effortless.
"I can't believe I'm doing this; this seems weird as fuck. Do you do this?!" Exactly my reaction as I forward to the next video every time they giggle about the freewheel sound.
I've noticed with the last few vids showing free hub sound how well "balanced" the rear wheel is. Virtually no hopping at all. I would love GCN to ask the team mechanics if they balance the wheels themselves or not .
300g diference just in the wheels at the same depth, go down to 35s and you could get the half a kilo there the tubs don't save all that much, maybe 10 or 15 g per tyre
Tubeless setup in a road bike is the heaviest of all. Heavier even than clincher setup. That's why I still don't get sense of it in road bikes. Puncture protection - who needs it? It's not mtb. Lower pressure available - the same. And the maintenance is harder and it is dirty. In a mtb - it is the only way to go. In a gravel bike - could be useful. In a road bike - no sense.
@@antonios1336 Clinchers with latex inner tubes seem to have similar or less rolling resistance than tubeless. So where is any benefit of using tubeless? :)
Great measurements and enthusiasm! Could fit me quite well with a regular stem... I'll take it off your hands Dan when you get the new VR3, thanks. ps. yup, Deda are one of the few brands that measure bars outside-outside, rather than centre-centre, so 'size up'.
Great job bro. Welcome! Question, what's the big deal with the free hub sound? Why would I want the noise? Mine is quiet and I like that. Does it reflect how the pawls engage or quality of the hub and power transfer?
I am fan of GCN show, but I would like to correct one very important thing, the flag in the new GCN T-shirt is not the american flag, it is the flag from the United States of America. America is a huge continent and not a country!!. Cheers and greetings from South America!
that freehub sound check technique was exceptional, saddle behind the neck and hand on the brake. The others could do with a lesson, he made it look effortless.
That reaction was priceless
They had enough of Ollie imitating an American accent so they just employed an American.
PlaAAstic WraAAp
I half expect Jeremy to say "good god" after every sentence
I like him
But please, give him a bike with SRAM, not with Campagnolo. That fits his accent 😉
Indeed, and he's even more annoying
Awesome Bike Analysis and Review (thanks for all the stats. Great Job!)!
I’m really loving the new American presenter. He’s a great welcome addition to the team, love his enthusiasm.
Wicked nice to have a fellow new englander on GCN.
Yes! Wicked pissah!
Very cool to see Jeremy in more GCN videos. Full of energy.
Great energy and enthusiasm Jeremy. You're doing an exceptional job so far.
Like your style Jeremy. Mixing things up. More stuff with Simon as well. 👍
I love Jeremys videos! please have him on more!!
can all presenters do the freehub sound check the way big J does it, please?
"I can't believe I'm doing this; this seems weird as fuck. Do you do this?!"
Exactly my reaction as I forward to the next video every time they giggle about the freewheel sound.
You are so much fun on the show Jeremy! Keep up the great work and keep being yourself. Yeah!!
Got to love a Colnago with Campy equipment. Nothing better
Love the added American enthusiasm! However (as a Brit) we need to talk about the pronunciation of the word "aluminium"...
Hahah I laughed.
Thank you for the laugh! Don't worry, the pronunciation issues are just beginning.
I've never heard of the word "aluminium", but I have heard the word aluminum ;)
we Americans aren't normal so we say it al-oo-min-um
daAnder71 thank you for the educated response 👌
great, enthusiastic addition to the team!
EXCELLENT, informative, FUNTASTIC review Jeremy Powers!!#peaceontheroad
Your sick!!! and welcome to the daft world of GCN freewheel sound check !! love it !!
As the 1st pro bike check, Jeremy is way too confortable. Great job, sir!
Wow! That's heavy as sh*t!!
On another note, glad to see a fellow American on GCN finally!!
You were great. Contagious enthusiasm. Dig.
Love your style Jeremy
Great video Thanks
J is quickly becoming my favorite presenter
Great video by Jeremy
Great to have JPOW💥 on the channel. more enthusiasm than everyone else combined & thats saying something!
The free hub soundcheck. Priceless, man. Laugh out loud, priceless
Amazing job JPOW!
Jeremy, spot on review. Love the free-hub sound check
It's weird not hearing Ollie's voice when watching a bike overview
Jeremy does a better American accent than Ollie.
weird not hearing Dan's voice you mram
The Americans do it bigger and better! The most excited bike presentation ever! You British GCN boys better up your game!
Well done! Very cool and easy. You're in!
Love the show guys but please learn how to pronounce Campagnolo! Looking at you too James!
"The Paggy"
The bikepacking drivetrain - camp and YOLO.
You mean it's not pronounced as camp-agg-nolo??
This guy needs to do every bike review!
That Colnago looks super gorgeous, sexy and hyper nice!
I love it! Still can't beat my favorite road bike, the Pinarello Dogma F12...
I prefer Specialized S-Works Tarmac of Julian Alaphilippe.
@@basstheangelo I see... (^_^)
Specialized bikes are also cool and nice.
@Chris Indermuehle (^_-)v
Up there with Valverde's Canyon Ultimate or Yatesy's new Addict. Super light and SUPER pretty
I've noticed with the last few vids showing free hub sound how well "balanced" the rear wheel is. Virtually no hopping at all. I would love GCN to ask the team mechanics if they balance the wheels themselves or not .
Great job Jeremy! Very nice presentation!
That was a nice approach to the free hub sound check :D
Whoa whoa wait wait wait. Am I missing something here? They say they save HALF A KILO through tubular wheels and tyres over clinchers?
300g diference just in the wheels at the same depth, go down to 35s and you could get the half a kilo there the tubs don't save all that much, maybe 10 or 15 g per tyre

Not knowing much...perhaps it has to do with roll resistance? Not sure.
@@antonios1336 Clinchers with latex inner tubes seem to have similar or less rolling resistance than tubeless. So where is any benefit of using tubeless? :)
@@krnone8057 no puncture protection needed? I wanna ride where you ride!
Great job J-Pow.
Great stuff jez, love your style
I like this guy! He seems to be a true bike geek.
Jizzle Pizzle, relaxed and confident! Doing it! ✌️❤️
Jeremy is awesome!
Super great review!
nice review
Love having J-Pow on the channel. Are you going to let him break out the turn tables and DJ at some point?
1:58 finally somebody who pronounces campagnolo correctly
Great dongle, such a beautiful dongle.
Go Jeremy!
clearly nervous (playing with his wedding ring), but with infectious enthusiasm. Welcome :-)
What?! Just saw that there is a GCN Japan channel! Amazing!
Nice review !!! 👍
Even a colnago stand.. nice
Congratulations man!🤜🏻🤙🏻
Jeremy Powers = the best guy
at last a presenter who i can understand 😆
Love that colour
Yes it's sick I agree that too
Great first video Mr Powers.
Don't sell yourself short, Man. That was excellent.
More of JP please
Great review. Great video shots. Host might be drinking too much coffee. Sweet bike.
Good job, Jeremy. Much easier to listen to than JC.
Great measurements and enthusiasm! Could fit me quite well with a regular stem... I'll take it off your hands Dan when you get the new VR3, thanks.
ps. yup, Deda are one of the few brands that measure bars outside-outside, rather than centre-centre, so 'size up'.
Good job 👍👍
f-bomb alert!!! and yes , it is f%^kin' weird to want to hear a free hub sound. i'm 'merican too
Cracking review and more by our American cousins ;)
The best part was you calling the freehub thing weird. It’s like a fettish.
I need an American GCN t-shirt.
Aaaaa yeeee!!!! No Shimano crap on sight!
Nice work J.P! USA USA USA .. the freehub sound check was great by the way... keep it up brother!!! USA USA!!!!!!!!!
I enjoyed the american touch
Hey J ! I think there are 3 in existence. I saw one last night (or I might just have been dreaming) :))
I think I like the new presenter... very American mixed into the Limey mix.
Kinda thrown of by the American accent, but I love it! More America! Visit Colorado!
Good job Jez.. freehub soundcheck?? No Neeeeed!!
Nice first attempt, will there be a bloopers reel with the calf cramps?
Jeremy rulz!
hello of Argentina
Do some of the lesser known teams, what are cube bikes?? How about kouta??
Biggest shock in this video is that an Irish/British rider has his rear break as the right lever...
Another way to say "Campagnolo", now I'm more confused
He's right. The freehub sound check is abit odd
So, the real question is this: when you all coming to the US to do a GCN gravel event?!
Great job bro. Welcome! Question, what's the big deal with the free hub sound? Why would I want the noise? Mine is quiet and I like that. Does it reflect how the pawls engage or quality of the hub and power transfer?
Haha don't be that serious dude, its simply a tradition
@@jackwhale8152 OK, I thought I was missing something. Thx
The first presentator with correct pronunciation "Campagnolo", "CampaÑolo", "Campanholo" and not "Campacknolo".
Fifffffffyyyyyyy fivvvveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
"wicked light"!! go red sox
JPow!!!
No dropped seat stays... so it's vintage?
Are they using the C64 at all this tour?
thedownunderverse I think the rest of the team are

why do they not have the vr-3?
I hear what you did there:campignolo
The very first time to hear "aluminum" on GCN lol...
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Who is it?
Who is this?
“Fraynce”
Sooooo...I watched the whole vlog to find out about the Tour De France tracking dongle...GPS?
No intend to offense, who is this guy?
good job! you’re American? could hardly tell! >>
