Girlschool - Screaming Blue Murder - 4K Video - CCS CD 830 Audio

This is a promotional video for the lead track from Girlschool's 1983 album Screaming Blue Murder. This album featured one line-up change in bassist Ghislaine 'Gil' Weston, formerly of The Killjoys, replacing the recently departed founding member Enid Williams.
The initial sound of the LP was poor, the production muddy and nowhere near as pristine as the previous Hit & Run album. The reissues sadly failed to fix these problems.
The Girlschool Collections CD has this much clearer and less muddy audio.
It is possible the production by Nigel Gray - Outlandos d'Amour (1978), Reggatta de Blanc (1979), and Zenyatta Mondatta (1980) for the Police, Kaleidoscope (1980) and Juju (1981) for Siouxsie and the Banshees - was indeed originally clear and sharp but virtually destroyed by the Bronze Records initial pressing.
