He is much smaller then yours, he is probably the size of Ike’s head! Lol! Your Channel always makes me smile, and I learn so much and I’ve become the tortoise know-it-all! They all look very well taken care of, and your passion is contagious. Many species of turtles are endangered up here in Ontario Canada due to human interference and disruption of habitats, and it's sad. Keep up the good work, you've got a fan in Kingston Ontario, green with envy!
That's awesome. I had a river turtle that I found a few years ago but I donated it to a turtle care facility at the biggest park in the city here in Mexico. I go to see the turtles often, they also have racoons and wildcats.
I found a baby shell of one of these guys in the woody area of my local creek...😭😭😭 Someone didn't know how much work is truly involved. It takes a full day to clean my "Skilpade's" set up. But I love her...

I live in AZ too and I have a 1 year old Sulcata. It's the only tortoise I have and I absolutely love it. Theyr'e such amazing creatures. Amazing ones you got there. What do you do about rain with those burrows? Ya we don't get whole lot of rain in AZ, but there's still monsoon season where it rains heavily for short period. I'd worry about burrow collapsing and drowning(the soil here is thick and doesnt drain well).
I just watched tortoises eat for 8 and a half minutes without realizing it has been 8 and a half minutes because they all look so happy

Depends on how deep the burrow is but they're usually safe from rain but flooding is dangerous so watch out for that
