The other day I got some UNBELIEVABLE footage of my tortoise laying eggs. We also went around and fed ALL the tortoises and put the GoPro on Ike for the day!

I just love turtles and tortoises. Saw a news piece a while back about some *ssh*les trying to kidnap a tortoise from some guy’s home to sell it off. When they were discovered they ended up running over the tortoise during their escape. The tortoise didnt survive; really just pissed me off. I hope you’ve got you’ve got your fences/security covered, man. Wish you and your shelled friends the best.

Not sure if you've explained this but how do you move Ike from enclosure to enclosure?
I haven't! Good question! I actually have a small trailer that I has a little ramp so I can move multiple tortoises, I just have to pull it by hand tho because I don't have anything to actually attach it to :( lol

Supposedly because they are aggressive but idk

usually if they can see through something they will think they can go through it so they will just keep trying to walk forward then it stresses them out

They have ears, just not ones that have an external part like ours.

How cold does it get at night?
during the winter it gets about 50, in the summer right now it gets about 85-90 which is what they feel most comfortable in
I live by an airport so planes fly over my house and they are noises
do you ever find snakes around them
Not around the babies or anything, but it's common for tortoises to actually share burrows with snakes and other animals, but it's very rare for a snake to actually want to attack a tortoise.
