Was it raspy when you had the exhaust. I’m cat less with a shitty muffler delete and I want to quiet it down a bit with a more mature tone. Would you recommend???
Most of the added volume is from being catless. The Greddy made it a more pleasing tone, but I still had to switch out the rear pipe for stock when I went on tracks with noise limits. So to say this may not make it quieter for you, but it is the best sounding exhaust for the FK8 in my mind. 👍
how did you manage to rev it past 3,500rpm while sitting still? i tried the R mode/holding down traction control button for 6 seconds to fully disable it method but it didn't work. that's the only thing i've been able to find online. any help would be appreciated! btw sick set up! i have the exact same set up but with a PRL hi flow DP

No. I was running the AWE Touring with the USR Down Pipe and loved it, but it was A) Too loud for the track (most tracks have noise limits), and B) It connected together via slip collars/clamps instead of traditional bolt/flange style...so it didn't work with other brand rear sections and the AWE Front Pipe was a PITA to get in and out (single bend over the sub-frame instead of 2 bends). I sold the AWE Touring exhaust, kept the USR Down Pipe, got the PRL Front Pipe (with bolt/flange design), and the GReddy rear section.....that way I only had to change out the rear section from GReddy to stock if I needed it quieter for track. Sorry...long explanation for a simple problem I had. 👍
Yes. 😅 NGL. Mainly on long, sweeping uphill spots where you are holding a steady speed like on the interstate. But, I don't do a lot of long distance highway driving, so it doesn't bother me much. 👍

It had to be tuned out. Hondata FlashPro allows you to dial in your rev limiter. Made it so she can free rev. 😅
