Be careful with this brand, for you can get an Escentric 02, which is not the same thing as Molecule 02. They are both under the brand: Escentric Molecules, but “Molecule 02” is strictly Ambroxan (the one in the video) while “Escentric 02” is a mixture of ambroxan and other notes. While both are great for layering, Molecule note 02 is better, and the Escentric 02 leans towards being it’s own fragrance

So for example, when shopping for them, the listing might say the brand: “Escentric Molecules”-and before the corresponding number (1-5) it’ll specify whether it’s “MOLECULE”, Or it might say “ESCENTRIC”. Knowing this, you’ll be able to tell whether it’s gonna be a single molecule scent fragrance (will be the ‘molecule’ version aka the great for layering), or whether that single scent molecule is gonna come complimented with other notes in the fragrance (the Escentric version)

Escentric seems to be the stronger line with added scents where molecule is the more basic. I think I will start with molecule 1 & 2 samples. I appreciate the response 👍
@@zero-ol2nt correct, molecule 1 & 2 are the best to start with. Worn together is a different type of awesome too imo. Also they’re easy to find for around $50-65 so don’t overpay too haha. Molecule 02 is a little hard to find rn but 01 is fairly easy to find *atm
You can get ambroxan and iso e super for much cheaper by bying the actual chemical instead of this fragrance. I think curly fragrance has a video about making molecule 01 and 02 at home.
But she never gives actual sources which to buy and they are unprepared unprocessed. You have to buy pure alcohol and such as well to create a usesable mixture. Yeah, getting Esentrics Molecule fragrances is not that cheap, but you get a high quality, finished product that performs on its own.
Molecule 01 also works well in this scenario. I prefer to layer Molecule 01 with fragrances because it's even more subtle than (ambroxan) Molecule 02 and does the same for the performance of fragrances. I find Molecule 02 to be very noticeable and distinct and is great as a standalone fragrance.
You could do this with the one, it will make it a bit sweeter. I would rather use molecule 01 instead for the one. But you definitely should overspray the one
If ambroxan is the secret to not ruining the fragrance and increasing longevity and performance...then why wouldn't Chanel just put more ambroxan in the fragrance???
I have like two bottles of this one at home since my wife loves it. I never liked it, since it too flat for me. Now I will have something to play with 😈
@@porhaltavaneppe No that is far too broad a term, if a fragrance formulation already has 50% of it being iso e super, adding more to it is going to make minimal difference to performance.
