I got dance and sing but not so good at them. When I was young I used to dance, and now, I sing. Idk about acting, I’m into it but never try it, only when I’m in bathroom. And recite a poem.... I don’t think I should not try that.

Filipinos dont really have formal voice trainings but we develop our voice at a very young age as our family and relatives would encourage us develop our talents (esp. on family reunions) and singing is just one of them.. so its only natural for most of us to know how to sing, though it may not be as great as those who are known to be singers.
Here in the Philippines, every family gathering is a talent showcase. The oldies will ask the kids to prepare a talent show days before, to be showcased on that special day. It is just part of life here.

i thank God that I was born filipino, being in a filipono school, yes its full of dark bunches but when music is in, everyone kinds of get as on, when class gets cancelled in high schools, students cant go out so they just bring guitar and make the front table/teachers table as a drum and everything is set, good songs make other classes join us in singing. its like one of those days that we just it everyday. when classes are suspended while still in the school, students huddles and sits in on one big circle, turn on the Bluetooth speaker and there you have it a mini concert. thats why many singers were discovered in high schools, cause that is the time that we'd rather sing or dance that be stuck on a lecture.

We have this thing called 'introduce yourself' every first day of the class wherein everyone should have a talent to show. It may be singing, dancing, drawing or anything. And every Monday or Friday of the week we have this thing called 'flag ceremony' wherein everyone of us would sing together.

In my elementary days I am a member of a church choir, as I step in highschool I always participate in a group singing competition but when I performed alone on stage for an intermition number and got so nervous infront of so many students and got wrong with my notes since then I didn't perform infront of so many people anymore. I dont have self confidence because my voice isn't like any other singers who can reach high notes, I just got low range voice. But after listening to KZ Tandingan and be a fan of BTS I started to get out of my shell again. 😁

In my elementary days I am a member of a church choir, as I step in highschool I always participate in a group singing competition but when I performed alone on stage for an intermition number and got so nervous infront of so many students and got wrong with my notes since then I didn't perform infront of so many people anymore. I dont have self confidence because my voice isn't like any other singers who can reach high notes, I just got low range voice. But after listening to KZ Tandingan and be a fan of BTS I started to get out of my shell again. 😁
That’s so good to hear! Stage fright is very real but singing is not just reserved for certain people! If you like singing do it! I sound like a bag of cats but I still sing in the shower 😊

I grow up listening music in the radio whole day and everyday.And also we love karaoke🎤🎤we can sing all day until we get tired of screaming,I remember my neighbors will do the same too😂so its like having a neighborhood concert with different voice and songs😂it was fun😁
In every Filipino class we always have a jamming session whenever we have a vacant subject, some students bring instruments or Bluetooth speaker or sometimes just sing in Acapella...
99% of Filipinos can sing and I belong on 1% who can't sing 🙂

Ahh! I remembered the day my English teacher let us sing Infront of the class for grades,but I didn't sang then she gave us a second chance to sing at her office, everyone in my school know that I can sing but they never heard my voice ,(my mom who is also a singer told everyone that I sing better than her) ,then I went and sang I didn't did my best and purposely make it simple so that people would stop telling me to sing on stage,but then my teacher told me " u got a good voice " I was like girl!! How was that good,so my plan didn't work # mission failed

Yeah... It reminds me back in my highschool days me and my tropa means group friends and classmates whenever our teachers absence we all sing like having party in the class 🤣🤣 so about your questions why us students stay in isolated room? because it's break time so we use to find some isolated room that we can loosen up like dancing and singing without embarrassment 🤣🤣 while waiting for our next class subject to start 🤷
