I always come across videos of reactors just randomly reacting to Filipino related videos. It easily tricks pinoy into watching the video, to boost their 'pinoy pride' in the comments and gain the video more views because of filipino viewers. Almost any react channel can get away with more views from just doing this, and I find it upsetting. Whenever I see a channel doing this, I can't help but think they're only reacting to it to get views or because they were recommended. When I scroll through youtube, spotting these kind of videos, I always think about the obvious reason why. I'm not trying to be rude, but I'm just giving an idea to who ever may read this.

Watching from the US, since the Pandemic, I have been following bloggers on their travels to the Philippines. So it really depends on how long you plan to stay. I suggest you watch the Philippine travel blogs of the couples who were stranded during the Pandemic. There are many others who have planned to live there.
Some tourists fly immediately to the islands, but for me, I suggest that you don’t miss Manila and take your time. If you want to avoid traffic, just stay in Makati or BGC. You know why? That is the place where you will get a lot of subscribers and viewers who will follow you for the rest of your trips. For one day, visit the malls, the Casinos, even if you don’t play and experience the night life. There are white sand beaches you can visit by driving a few hours. or by bus. from Manila. You can first visit Batangas, Zambales, then the Codilleras up to the Northern tip which is Pagudpud.
Then plan on going to Palawan then Boracay and Cebu and further South.
Your subscribers, like myself will follow and support you. Filipinos are welcoming.
Likewise, you said you have a friend, he can probably give you people to contact ang to refer you to a travel agent for a cheaper International flight to the Philippines
Check out those places I have mentioned and will find cheap hotel accommodations. Food is cheap and check the dollar rate to the peso. Subscribed.

Thank you for featuring the Philippines Grateful for that. You can take a peek in Manila but spend most of your time in top tourist destinations throughout its 7K plus islands. I was born and grew up in Manila until now so I can volunteer to tour you to historical places and the 3 biggest malls if you want.Metro Manila is the political, cultural and business hub of the Philippines. While much of billionaires live in MetroManila, much of the informal settlers or urban poor are also concentrated here - the two faces of Manila - rich and poor. Eveywhere, from malls to homes you will find karaoke, maybe explains why most Filipinos love music. Filipina mother love to sing lullabies to their babies too.

I would totally recommend that when you arrived to thw Philippines you checked in to one of these best hotels here... Sofitel, Intercontinental Manila, The Peninsula, Somerset-Olympia, Makati/EDSA/BGC (Bonifacio Global City) Shangri-la and many more... And then tour the entire Metro Manila and try Filipino cuisines starting to the most familiar ones in every households called Adobo (Soy Sauce & Vinegar Meat/Chicken Stew), Bulalo (Beef Bone Marrow Broth Souo), Kare Kare (Peanut Oxtail Stew) and many many more.
