I have a colonial built in 1920. I completed a bonafide lead test on various surfaces that I’ll be scraping, removing (Peel Away/Hot gun) and the tests were negative.Hmm….
This is really helpful. Im planning on painting my guest house that has never been painted since 74' and I was so scared on how to approach it. I dont want to hire people for thousands of dollars for somthing that, if I read up, educate myself and test it, I can do myself. I love painting and find alot of satisfaction of doing things on my own and I think if more people did their own home improvement projects, their would be more respect for those who do it professionally.
