Steam cleaner repair

Please forgive my Greeklish! English isn't me native language but most of people, do speak more English than Greek. 😁
This steam cleaner stopped working. The reason was the thermal switch, located inside the base of it. Easy to find the problem, since the tester I used, was showing voltage on the one side of the thermal switch but not on the other one. The same would happen if the problem was of the fuse located on the other side of the thermal switch. Good luck with your repair!!! 😉

How much, where did you buy it and why do these break?

Hi. The cost was approximately 5€. I bought it from a shop with spare parts for electrical appliances (not electrical equipment). The are multiple reasons for them to break. I mention few of them:
1. if it works without water for long time (e.g. if you forget to unplug it after work)
2. If it falls down while it is very hot
3. If working voltage is much higher than the nominal one.
There are also many others....

Unfortunately I didn't keep them. There are many different types, so it's not sure if mine works on your machine...
