Hadn't used mine in years. Alot of white deposit came out of the base. I soaked it in vinegar but still didn't work. So I followed your video and bam. I so appreciate you for taking the time to put this out. 👍

Thanks for posting, mine was seized up exactly like yours and the trigger popped out of socket. Tore it down, fixed the trigger, got the valve moving and then it would make some stream but wouldn't shut off. Unscrewed the plastic nipple and picked some crud out of the valve with a toothpick and then ran some vinegar through and it's working great again. 🎉

Brilliant. We’ve got an identical one to that and it stopped working. I’ve just got the handle removed and yes, ours is seized solid. I’m about to go and try to free it off. Thanks for a great video 👍🏼😁

Just found your video and took it apart exactly like you showed. Different model but the principle was the same. Absolutely amazed, got it working again. So so pleased. Thank you very much.....😀

Haven't used my one (different brand - I'm in the UK) for a while and have the same problem. Mine is letting the steam through but won't shut it off. Where I am we have very hard water so I cleaned the tank with a mix of vinegar and water and will now clean the trigger when it cools down again. Hopefully this will cure the problem. Thank you for uploading this very useful video.

Thank you, worked perfectly. Used a 6 mm socket to remove small nut in the front. Thank you for the video,

I didn't have the socket or screw driver, so am trying WD40 and letting same nut screw sit. Used a TEMU dental tool..

Yep! My one is very similar. I like the idea of using vinegar to clean the scale which keeps the valve from closing properly. Beware of the snap ring. It can bite!!

Yep, it can and it did bite, but like you I'm pleased with wht you shared with this video's helpfulness/presentation.

I've got exactly same one with same price at a thrift store yesterday. But mine doesn't power on. I will try to fix it sometime later. Does it burn the element if using without the water in?

I did the same thing mine didn’t work had to pull out the brass table inside there’s a spring pull it out because it’s covered in gunk get a wire brush clean it off put it back in and rubber hose all that shit bam it works. I used a long thin screw to help pop out the brass tab at the end the spring was clogged in the lining of the hole had to pull it out by accident with a pipe wire brush cleaner. You’re welcome

What did you use to take the snap ring off? Pliers don't go around it.
