I fitted these front and back a few days ago and I really like them. Positives: When they work, and they usually do, they are AMAZING. I got the colour-changing ones and I ride to work in nearly all weathers. Drivers are giving me more space. Instead of rushing to pull out, sometimes they wait and let me pass just to see me go by. Obviously some of them still seek to intimidate cyclists from within their large steel vehicle, but some people just cannot resist their own worst impulses. I am a commuter so I have proper front and rear lights, too. The visual effect in darkness is very pleasing and attractive so I hope I'm making my area more pleasant, too! Negatives: they can be a little unreliable, a couple of times they have just stopped working. It may down to how I fitted them because I can usually cure it by starting to take them off the spokes, and they will often just start right back up and then I can refit them all the way again. I would love to explain better but I don't understand why they sometimes stop working. Don't pay too much money for them, but if the price is quite low, I think they're very good and a lot of fun.
Thank you so much for the details I really appreciate you taking the time to do that. I hope they get more consistent for you. I have not had that issue but I have not taken them off yet original batteries still going strong. I'm hard at work producing new content, get ready for more learning, discovery and fun. I just ordered these lights on Amazon and after reading the bad reviews about randomly stopping, I really hope I don’t come across those because I bought these lights for my children and I when we go on bike rides.
I was just looking at these at Walmart. Way better set up than the valve caps that used watch batteries. Not so sure how much safety they bring to night riding.People will chase you down for a closer look because they create that floating glow like the old school 12 v Neon sets that was popular back in the 20th century for cars. They have a strong hypnotic effect that could get you run over ,to be "BLUNT" ( pretty lites, dude! ) The LED stuff produces such strong clear illumination .. this is all triple snap thumbs up stuff !
Thanks for taking the time to watch the video and leave a comment. You're right about looks I do get a lot a looks when I'm out riding. My head light is nice and bright to break them out of the trance haha. Please subscribe to the channel for more reviews, DIY, How to's and cool motivation. Thanks again for watching and the comment.
Im remodeling a mobile home and I'm sick of being rained on. If you have any Insight pertaining to portable shelters ( about pickup truck sized) I would very much appreciate a shove in the right direction. Can't build a proper garage just yet.
Are these lights compatible/adaptable w/E-bikes? The rear-hub motors look bigger than rubber straps are able to S-t-r-e-t-c-h! Cool safety lights tho...
I have road over 15 miles at night and never had a problem and I'm in 80 to 90 degree weather. That's very strange, not sure it was the lights that could have caused this. I will do little research.
