I love how she says "what is this channel" but honestly, I have been loving these new videos. I grew up watching her and I feel like I can watch again and feel like I can relate.
for the bathrobe ties, you can just twist and tie the two sides together in the back (and twist it into a low bun and secure it with a hair tie) it's comfy and super secure
the socks seem hilarious, the charlie curl looks painfull, the bathrobe string looks fabulous, the wiggly tubes look like you were thrown back to the nineties or so
If I had known about these methods in middle school I would've been ALL over them lol reminds me of the days when I would sleep in a bunch of braids to have crimped hair the next day
OMG HIIII IVE BEEN WATCHING YOU FOR YEARS AND I HAVE GROWN WITH YOU AND I LOVE THAT YOU ARE BEING YOURSELF AND HOW HONEST YOU ARE ABOUT MENTAL HEALTH BECAUSE IT MAKES ME FEEL WAY LESS ALONE!! Thank you for everything that you have done for me without realizing 💗
okay girl you are seriously on point with your new filming style. As I said for last weeks video I love this style, I really like getting to see all of the methods at once and then all of the results at once, instead of doing it one by one.
the wavy hair with the pink lighting was the prettiest ive ever seen lauren look... she looked way less overpolished and perfect in a good way and made me feel like i was sitting with a more natural friend
I got those rainbow wave things too on a whim at the end of last year and can confirm they do hurt especially if you put too much hair in, it takes forever because you have to do such tiny sections and now they take up so much room in my bathroom. I’d definitely stick with the socks or robe method
The sock curls work out REALLY well for me. I have just above shoulder length REALLY THICK hair. So I use 3 pairs of socks and divide my hair into 6 chunks. Then wrap the hair. And wait about 4 hours. And I get perfect bouncy curls. I want to try the robe belt method. Informative video Lauren thank you.
Lauren, Even though I am a grandmother, I Love your kid's craft show on HBO Max. Lots of ideas for my grandkids to do with me and their great-grandmom a;; together. We are a very crafty family! love your enthusiasm!
hahah the silent pause and stare to the camera in the end haha love this video Lauren! will have to buy a robe now for the robe tie method hahah love you
I have naturally curly hair - but I do "headband" curls just to sometimes get more uniform/tighter curls.. Which is very similar to the bathrobe tie method. I might have to try that.
K just so y’all know the bathrobe curls turn out better when instead of just clipping it up, u put in t into side buns. The waves become much fuller and hold better throughout the day😊
Hey Lauren! These all turned out really nice and I will definitely be trying them! For a future video please can you do an easy diys for mothers day, thankyou so much! You're amazing!
This was the only way I could style my hair back when I was like 14 and my hair was starting to change I had no idea how to style my curls and I didn't have access to hair products
There are curl versions of the ones with the stick and pull through ones. I used to hairspray them a little and sleep in them. They come out a little too perfect but you can def tease them to make them 👌🏼
The bathrobe tie one I love doing in my hair. The only difference is I take the clear ties at the end of the hair to the bathrobe tie then I take the two end and tie it together in the back. Super comfortable to sleep in and usually stays in tact through out the night. And the curls are A+
Yup girl same! I use a mixture of Hask Argon Oil and Coconut Oil sprays religiously after showering and it's the OOOONLY thing in my life that's ever kept my hair from frizzing 😅
This has been such a funny, entertaining video. I loved it!! The video and editing style is top-notch, I love all the different cuts and takes. And it's always way more enjoyable when you can clearly see you're enjoying yourself (maybe minus 1970s mum vibes lol 😂). If this is the new LaurDIY standard then I am thoroughly impressed.
i have never laughed so hard in my life! and can confirm the robe tie is the absolute best! also a really crazy sleeper and a few clips holds everything just fine!! 😃
I use the sock method in towel dry hair and i go to sleep woth the socks. Sometimes the hair i still a bit damp in the back so I just blowdry a bit with the socks still in- and it looks so good for like 2 days
You should try using a silk scarf. Just braid it into your hair, similar to what you did with the bathrobe. I prefer using the silk scarf because you can easily go out with it. I've tried multiple no heat curling methods over the years, even though my hair is naturally wavy, but the silk scarf is the best!
I can’t get over the fact that she was complaining about it taking so long when me over here just sitting and crying after four hours of straightening my hair. We love curly hair💅✨💀. Anyways this was great.
Can confirm, the bathrobe curls turn out surprisingly well considering how little effort is required.
Facts
I did it and it works great
The twisted rope braid will give the same look without the need of a bathrobe tie
Right it works great. I wrap my hair around my bathrobe every time after my shower. Chilling in it right now
Yes it is my favourite and I use it all the time
I'm obsessed with how Lauren has progressed, literally so proud of her
Imagine Jeremy seeing pink lights thinking it’s sessy time and then he sees you with plastic rainbow hair
💀
omggg I wish I could see that happening
I laughed so hard at this 😂
the things only the podcasts listeners know ;)
Bahahahahaha
I love how she says "what is this channel" but honestly, I have been loving these new videos. I grew up watching her and I feel like I can watch again and feel like I can relate.
This is literally just Lauren comparing herself to different people and objects for 15 minutes straight
Exactly what I was thinking
HAHAHAH
for the bathrobe ties, you can just twist and tie the two sides together in the back (and twist it into a low bun and secure it with a hair tie) it's comfy and super secure
You should make a video on it and remind me, id def leave a like!
The editing and formatting of this with the reveals... peak 👌🏽
When she calls her hair thin and Im like “what is mine then” 😅
She does have extensions in to be fair.
Elyse Karl yeah and her hair actually is pretty thin
For reals
Same!! Lol🤣🤣🤣🤣
haha same 😂😂😂
(also, i’m a tiny yt who’s just starting out so any love is appreciated 🙃🥰😇)
the socks seem hilarious, the charlie curl looks painfull, the bathrobe string looks fabulous, the wiggly tubes look like you were thrown back to the nineties or so

Am I the only one who would have loved to see Jeremy's reaction to Lauren walking in the room with the different methods in her hair.
Yeees, sameeee 😂
haha i even thought of that when she did the first method i would have loved Jeremys reaction.
Laur: No HEAT Curls
Everyone: INDEED!

The colorful zigzag curler things also come in the spiral curls and work really well. You can also just leave them in instead of blow drying them.
Love the new hair highlights! Blonde Lauren is back!!

it’s crazy that the tools made to do “no heat curls” literally flopped
Podcast viewers: we peek those pink lights Lauren 😉
This made me hehehehe out loud
Literally what I thought as soon as I saw those lights 👀 lol
Wait wait what podcast episode?! I must have missed it ):
@@Beatinglikeahammerr the most recent one; episode 26 :)
Literally just finished listening to the episode lol
Honestly I needed this. Been looking for good heatless curls for my middle part and bangs for the absolute longest time 😅
The sock and robe curls were both really cute!!!

I really appreciate how your committed to doing all of these properly and didn’t half ass them like some youtubers did.
As someone with naturally curly hair I would LOVE a no heat hair straightening hack😬
Loving the new video style Lauren!!!💖💖💖
the prinsess leia one looks so good on her same with the colourful croshe one
I was so hoping we’d get a clip of Jeremy reacting to the looks. Like I want to know what he thought of the noodles.
Love how this channel has evolved. New filming style too, I'm obsessed. I love youuuu!
I tried the sock curls like two years ago and I love them they work rlly well in my hair and stay curly for a while. : )

The sock method is the cutest!! 😍
thank goodness the one with socks turned out as one of the best since it’s the only method that i have “supplies” for🤪
K just so y’all know the bathrobe curls turn out better when instead of just clipping it up, u put in t into side buns. The waves become much fuller and hold better throughout the day😊
I do sock curls all the time! It turns out really good and if you sleep on em, you just wake up with your hair styled
My little brother was watching her do the socks and he went " is she ok!? " sounding genuinely concerned lol
I am in love with your content this video and last. I can feel you being genuinely into your content and I am here 👏🏼 for 👏🏼 it 👏🏼

You should try the spiral curl formers they work so well!! Also love you😂♥️
I’m soooooo happy your back posting
the edit for that reveal was EVERYTHING
I was looking at your bracelets at the beginning of the video, and thought I would recommend Enewton design!!
honestly here for lauren's personality!!
yay!!! also your hair looks good in all of them lol 😂
THIS IS WHAT I NEEDED! I WAS LITERALY EXPERIMENTING WITH THESE! THANK YOU ILY!
I like my beach waver! I just got it. I don’t think it takes longer than any traditional curling iron.
the sock ones look so good omg i need to try
Hey Lauren! These all turned out really nice and I will definitely be trying them! For a future video please can you do an easy diys for mothers day, thankyou so much! You're amazing!
Tip for the colorful wavy curly things put the hook half way up you hair so when you pull the tube goes up
I love how much you've grown as a person!
I do the robe curls all the time and they work super well
please do this as a series of 'I try things so you dont have to' because you are so honest and funny with this!

I think with the charlie curl is that when you have rolled if you should fold it forwards rather than back 💕

For the wave curl thing, make sure you twist the top where you hook the hair before actually putting it in the hook
