Okay so resin, 1. You gotta keep the gloves on (get tighter ones) 2. You need a mask or respirator 3. You can use alcohol in a spray bottle to get the bubbles out of anything in a mold cause if you use a heat torch and heat it too much you can melt the mold to the resin.

Ive done resin twice now. I used dried flowers and letter key chains.... the 1st time it didn't dry because i didn't do research so I just like eyeballed the half and half... but the 2nd one is pretty cute later on I definitely want to get more shapes, pigments, and gold leaf!
These diy gifts are honestly sooooo amazing!!!! I’d do these. Also I do prefer the basketball as a purse it just looks more like a purse holding a plant.💜

I recommend wearing a mask and gloves with resin as it can be toxic. My aunt makes resin jewelry and wears gloves and masks because previously she’s had to go to the hospital for two weeks due to the resin.

GIRL, for the bubbles in the resin, if youre too scared to use a torch you can use 90% isopropyl, just spray it on lightly, and make sure you dont use too much !!!

If you're afraid to use fire/torch methods with resin I don't blame you. You can put rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle and that also can get the bubbles out. It's also a great bubble reducing method that you can use for soap making. Also, resin can be highly toxic and can cause lung problems over time. Please use a good mask, gloves and a highly ventilated area when using resin especially if you decide to use it a lot. Be careful, so many people don't realize how toxic it is. U can buy opaque pigments for opaque coasters and acrylic paints work just fine on resin

To pop the bubbles use high proof rubbing alcohol in a mister bottle and spritz them or use a craft heat gun instead of a butane torch, it works too
