I have no real interest in watching Black Clover, but those two songs almost make me want to.
Animation for black clover suffers at times but the director somehow manages to put out simple but good animation

Out of nowhere spade resistance were shock when they find out he was using wind magic and even in the end of elve arc we didn't saw licht child left yuno body even his magic stone foreshadow star magic and u said out of nowhere then asta grimoire is asspull and noelle learn spirit dive in 3 days another asspull
I think you guys should give this anime a shot, it might be a little slow in the beginning but it gets a lot better, it was a very good anime overall for me
Tbh it didn't felt slow to me when I watched the first few episodes.its still a great show atleast for me.

This story is amazing. Period. I love the friendship and magic system. Characters are sooooo good. Please give it a thought to react to it. Asta may be pretty annoying in the sub more than the dub, but he totally does grow on you.

Black clover is honestly a great anime. The areas where it hits really hit. It's just that the budget for this show wasn't the highest of the high.

only gets good at like ep 39ish though or maybe it's ep 49 I forget and then once you get past that it's good
Budget had little to do with it, it was the terrible time restraints they had to deal with
Manga is the better experience but the fight scenes are expanded and well shown in the anime
Gordon is indeed the best boy.
The reason there’s so many mixed reviews is bc the author wanted to make a shonen version of berserk which meant obviously not being as graphic. His main focus is the world building/lore and its characters. The animation isn’t consistent due to it being a weekly production, but I still recommend it. It’s a really well written series and imo has no boring episodes. The main inspiration for this series are Db, bleach, berserk, and togashi(hxh,yuyu hakusho)
Alot of people also consider it to be a bad clone of naruto for some reason. Which makes zero sense tbh.

Black Clover as a whole is a really amazing show and it’s easily one of my favorites! i feel like a lot of people who dislike it didn’t get through the first season because it definitely starts slow lol. but as someone who has seen just about all of your videos,i think you guys would really enjoy it!

@chrys_stone8716 100 percent! I honestly hope they do the dub if they watch it. I've seen it both ways but the english cast just feels very unique and ads a lot of personality to each character
@alexnewlun720 my wife watched the sub and I couldn't get past Asia's voice in the first few episodes. Bryson Baugus was better for my ears.

The consensus favorite among the general public is OP 10 - Black Catcher, to the point where a lot of people even have it in their Top 5 Anime OP's ever (e.g. NicholasLightTV had it at No. 4 on his Top 60 anime Openings list) But yeah, 1,3,7, and 12 are also pretty popular. Glad you liked them!

Either way, for me anyway, I like it just because of how great the voice fits with the beat, when the beat goes low, his voice goes low and vice versa.

i absolutely love black catcher (and black rover... and all the ops really), though personally i have to say my favorite is op 9 (right now) for some reason. it might be it really resonated with me since i liked the arc so much

In my opinion its a very underrated show. Its got great character development, great animation, soundtrack and most importantly a great and intriguing storyline. Absolutely recommend giving Clover a go as it quite honestly shocked me with how much i genuinely enjoyed watching it.

My personal favorites from the openings were 1, 3, 10, 12 and 13. I didn't really vibe with 13 at first but after listening a few more times did i love it eventually

OMG I have to say seeing you guys react to BLACK CLOVER is like a fever dream. I enjoy your reactions so much and BLACK CLOVER is one of the anime that got me hooked on watching anime again. I would love to see you guys react to it, the show starts off very very slow in the beginning and the main character Asta is super annoying at first ( heads up) but it is overall peak and I mean a PEAK anime.

The mixed reviews come from the animation imo. The story is solid, good plot, the animation lets it down sometimes tho. But definitely a show worth watching.
Yeah, the studio wanted to do seasonal but the publisher wanted a weekly series. So they skimped on animation for several episodes so they could focus on their favourite parts of the story, since they didn't have the budget to do cool animation otherwise. Can put people off a bit.
There are many extremely well animated scenes though. Like Julius vs Licht or Asta and Yami vs Dante or Yuno vs Rill.

I was not expecting that, when you did the openings reaction I thought "hey it would be nice if they do openings reaction for a single anime and watch all the black clover openings" and here they are. My favorite anime with my favorite reactors on youtube. I'm looking forward for more reactions like this, ther are so many animes with a lot of insane openings.

Honestly for an anime with a plethora of openings, almost all of them are on par with each other, and the bar itself is set pretty high. Keep up the content!!
You all will absolutely adore the characters and their interactions with each other.
The animation (particularly in the first 40 episodes) can be a bit rough, but it gets way better over time and some of the fights are absolutely spectacular.
Asta is a great MC and Yuno is a great rival. Also, the female cast is actually super important and not just there for the MC
Just make sure when you watch it you watch the dub, it has Chris sabat

@@The123abable Because Asta was absolutely insufferable in the sub for like the first 10 episodes. He got a hell of a lot better, but he was a legitimate nightmare in the beginning. I came out of it liking the sub more still once he got better, but I'll never discredit Black Clover's dub. It's up there with the great dubbed animes for me now. The few and the mighty.
@@PK_Nate it's not about discrediting. Just because the dub is "good" doesn't make it better than original, like a lot of things are lost in translations, a lot of things are lost during dubs too. It makes sense for people who're not used to subtitles or watching foreign language stuff, but these guys are used to it. They even watched Fmab in dub due to popular opinion. And fyi they've started one piece which has similar annoying goofy voiceactings which you do get used to after a while so this is nothing.
So this show does have so many characters, new characters keeps popping up.. but somehow you will remember all of them, also most of them don't disappear.

3rd opening will always be my favorite one. Probably the most hype of them for me.
Black clover is great! Took me maybe 5 episodes to get into, but I've grown to love it. I think what it does best is portraying the camarederie and friendships between the characters. It's also funny at times, a good comfort show with some amazingly animated fights.
gonna need endings 1-13 as well for sure now that you've opened the black clover gate. The endings are extremely diverse, in both song and visuals. You'll def enjoy them as well. Also the main character is named Asta lol, so idk how you got the other name. The main character's friend is named Yuno.
